User Interface

Home Screen

After 60 seconds of inactivity, the thermostat home screen displays only the time and the temperature.

The thermostat home screen shows the current time, outdoor temperature, floor temperature, and heating status. Options to swipe for more information or change operating mode are indicated.

Swipe to view:

Change operating mode

The operating modes available are Heat, Cool, Auto Heat-Cool, and Off.

Temperature Adjustment:

Touch the up or down arrows to adjust temperatures. Select either Heat To or Cool To.

Save: 'Save to schedule' applies the new temperature to the current schedule event.

Cancel: Discards changes.

Hold: Hold overrides the programmed schedule until the time shown.

Go to settings: Accesses the menu selection for AWAY, SCHEDULE, DISPLAY, TIME, WIFI, SETUP, and FAN.

User Settings

Away

Use the Away setting to save energy when the building is unoccupied. Selecting the Away setting on a thermostat or the mobile app will affect all devices linked to that location through the app. The Away temperature can be adjusted in the Setup / Temps menu.

The thermostat can be set to 'At Home' or 'Away' mode. The 'Away' mode saves energy when the building is unoccupied.

Schedule

The schedule allows for programming different temperatures for various times of the day. You can create new schedules or modify existing ones.

Early Start: Anticipates the time required to heat or cool a room and starts early.

Schedule Setup: Allows setting the start time, heating temperature, and cooling temperature for each day of the week. You can also 'Skip' a temperature change for a specific day.

The schedule setup screen allows users to program daily temperature settings for different periods like Wake, Leave, Return, and Sleep.

Display

The display settings allow you to select temperature units (°F or °C), adjust brightness, choose a theme (e.g., Light), and select the language (English, French, or Spanish).

Energy Use: View daily and monthly energy usage for heating and cooling.

Clean Screen: A 10-second countdown allows the screen to be cleaned with a moist cloth.

Display settings include temperature units, brightness, theme, and language. Energy usage can be viewed daily or monthly.

Time

When connected to the Internet, the time can be set automatically. Manually setting the time and date is also possible using the up and down arrow buttons.

Time options:

NOTICE: Incorrectly setting the time and date manually may prevent the thermostat from communicating to the mobile app. Automatic time source is recommended when using an Internet connection.

The time and date can be set automatically via the internet or manually. Time options include 12/24 hour format, time zone, and daylight savings.

Fan

The fan is normally off when set to auto but turns on when needed for the heating or cooling equipment. When a programmable schedule is used, there is a fan setting for each time period.

Fan settings can be set to On or Auto for different schedule periods.
