User Settings
Away Setting
The Away setting conserves energy when the building is unoccupied. When activated, the thermostat operates using the Away temperature selected in the Setup menu. This setting can affect all linked devices in the same location when set via the thermostat or the mobile app.
Image Description: A visual shows the 'Home / Away' status, indicating 'At Home' or 'Away'. The 'Away' setting can be adjusted in the Setup / Temps menu.
Schedule
The thermostat allows for programmable schedules. You can set different temperatures for various times of the day (Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep) for different groups of program days (e.g., Mon-Fri).
Early Start: This feature anticipates the time required to heat or cool a room and starts the system earlier to reach the set temperature by the scheduled time.
Schedule Setup: You can create new schedules or modify existing ones. Options include setting the start time, heating temperature, and cooling temperature. You can also choose to 'Skip' a temperature change for a specific period.
Image Description: A table shows a sample schedule with times (Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep) and corresponding heating and cooling temperatures for Monday through Friday. It also shows the 'Early Start' setting (On/Off) and an option to create a 'New Schedule'. The 'Schedule Setup' section allows users to select days, set wake times, and define heating and cooling temperatures.

An 'Energy Use' section displays a table for 'Daily Usage' with run times for heating and cooling.
Time Settings
When connected to the Internet, the time can be set automatically. Manual setting is also available.
NOTICE: Incorrectly setting the time and date manually may prevent communication with the mobile app. Automatic time source is recommended for Internet connections.
Time Options:
- 12-hour or 24-hour time format
- Automatic or manual time setting
- Time zone
- Daylight savings time
Image Description: A 'TIME & DATE' interface is shown, allowing manual setting of the date and time using up/down arrows. Options for time settings are listed, including format, source, time zone, and daylight savings.
Fan Settings
The fan is normally off when set to 'Auto' but turns on when needed for heating or cooling equipment. When a programmable schedule is used, a fan setting can be defined for each time period.
Fan Options: On, Auto, Follow Schedule.
Image Description: Two interface examples show fan settings. One allows setting the fan to 'On' or 'Auto' and provides a 'Setup Fan Schedule' option. The other shows fan settings for different schedule periods (Wake, Leave, Return, Sleep) with options like 'On' and 'Auto'.
