3. Working Mode Settings ⚙️
You can set the switch among 3 working modes: inching, interlock, and self-locking mode.
Self-locking Mode ?
In self-locking mode, you can turn on/off the 4 connected devices independently. For example, if you turn on CH1, the connected device stays on. If you turn off CH2, the connected device stays off.
Inching Mode ⏳
In inching mode, you can turn on the connected devices for a duration of 1-16 seconds. For example, you can turn on CH1 for 1 second, and it will automatically turn off afterward.
Interlock Mode ?
In interlock mode, you can turn on only one device at a time. Turning on another device will automatically turn off the previously active one. For example, if CH2 is turned on, and you then turn on CH3, CH2 will automatically turn off.
Switch Configuration for Modes
As seen from the PCB images, there are switches S5, S6, K6, and K5 used for configuration.
CAUTION: Please cut off the power supply before switching S5, S6, K5, K6. Whether you use DC or AC input, make sure you have unplugged the power plug every time! It's very dangerous if you don't cut off the power supply, and the new settings cannot be activated.
Work Mode Switch S6

S6 is the interlock / inching & self-locking switch. Toggle to the right (0) for interlock mode; toggle to the left (1) for inching & self-locking mode.
Please note that if S6 is toggled to the right (0), your 4CH Pro is in interlock mode, and settings for K5 are invalid.
Work Mode Switch K5 (Inching/Self-locking)
Position | Status | Mode | Apply to |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 0 | Inching | CH1 |
2 | 0 | Inching | CH2 |

4. Problems and Solutions ❓
Read the detailed FAQ on the Itead Smart Home Forum. If the answers below cannot solve your problem, please submit feedback on eWeLink.
- My device has added successfully but stays "Offline".
Answers: The newly added device needs 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and the Internet. If it stays offline for a long time, please judge the problem by the WiFi LED status:
- 1.1. WiFi LED quickly blinks one time and repeats: Device failed to connect to the router. Reasons may include an incorrect WiFi password, the device being too far from the router causing a weak signal, or using a 5G-WiFi router (only 2.4G is supported). Ensure your router is MAC-open.
- 1.2. WiFi LED slowly blinks one time and repeats: Device has connected to the router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Power cycle the device and try adding it again.
- 1.3. WiFi LED quickly blinks twice and repeats: Device has connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Please confirm your WiFi router is working normally.
- Why the APP cannot find the device in pairing status?
Answers: This is likely due to your phone's cache. Please close your phone's WLAN, wait a minute, then reopen it. Simultaneously, power off the device if possible, then power it up again to try.
- My WiFi has expired, can I connect the devices to LAN?
Answers: Currently, this product does not support LAN or direct hotspot connection. It must connect to a WiFi router with a normal network that can access the Internet.
- The WiFi LED keeps off, even if the device is powered on. Pressing the button does not work.
Answers: The circuit may be broken. Please send it back for testing. Return shipping postage and packaging will be at the buyer's expense. If the device is damaged by the buyer, the buyer should bear extra repair costs.
