1. What's Inside
The Razer Kishi Ultra package includes:
- Razer Kishi Ultra
Controller Layout: The Razer Kishi Ultra features a symmetrical design with two grips. The left grip has a D-pad (E), a clickable analog thumbstick (B), and an Options button (C). The right grip has three clickable Mecha-tactile ABXY buttons (K), a clickable analog thumbstick (B), and a Menu button (J). Above the right thumbstick is the Razer Nexus button (M). The top edge of the controller has bumpers (O) and triggers (Q). The left side has a 3.5mm audio + mic port (G). The center bridge (H) is extendable. A status indicator (L) is present. The controller lighting (D) is powered by Razer Chroma RGB. It includes a USB Type C connector (I) and a USB Type C port (N) for charging and PC connection.

The controller comes with three pairs of interchangeable rubber cushions for a secure fit:
- Rubber Cushions A (Pre-installed): For iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15.
- Rubber Cushions B: For iPad Mini (6th gen).
- Rubber Cushions C: For Android devices.
Note: Rubber cushions A are pre-installed. For phones with cases, try removing the cushions for compatibility.

2. What's Needed
To use the Razer Kishi Ultra, you will need:
- A mobile device or PC with a USB Type A / Type C port.
- Operating System Compatibility:

- Windows 11 (64-bit)
- An internet connection for app installation.
Compatibility Notes:
Compatible mobile devices include: iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15, iPad mini (6th generation), Razer Edge, Samsung Galaxy S23 Series, and Google Pixel 6 / 7 / 8.
An external cable may be required and is sold separately.

5. Getting Started
A. With Your Mobile Device
Setup: Attach your mobile device to the extendable bridge of the Razer Kishi Ultra. The controller supports device dimensions up to 12.32 mm (thickness, including camera) x 208.9 mm (length).
Indicator: A solid white light (2 seconds) indicates successful connection.
B. With Your PC
Connect the Razer Kishi Ultra to your PC using a USB Type C to Type A cable or a USB Type C cable (cables sold separately). The controller will use XInput on Windows.

Install the Razer Nexus Game Launcher (For Mobile Devices)
Launch compatible games, remap controller buttons, configure haptic feedback and lighting effects, take screenshots, record gameplay, and more. Download the app from Google Play or the App Store, or visit rzr.to/nexus-app.
6. Using the Controller
Detaching Your Phone
To detach your mobile device, gently pull the sides of the controller apart.
Passthrough Audio
Connect your headset to the 3.5mm audio + mic port on the controller for audio and microphone passthrough. This feature works with both mobile device and PC connections. (Razer headset sold separately).
Passthrough Charging
Charge your device while gaming by connecting a USB-IF certified charging cable to the USB Type C port. The status indicator will briefly display a solid amber light (10 seconds) during passthrough charging. USB Type C audio and other accessories are not supported via this port.
Using the Rubber Cushions
Swap the attached rubber cushions with the provided pairs to ensure a snug fit for your specific mobile device (iPhone 15 series, iPad Mini (6th gen), or Android devices).
Adjusting the Haptics Intensity
Decrease Haptics: Press and hold the Home button + L1 bumper.
Increase Haptics: Press and hold the Home button + R1 bumper.
Note: Haptics compatibility may vary per game and device.
Switching Between Controller Modes (For Android Devices Only)
HID mode (default): Press and hold the Home button + A button. Suggested for most Android games.
XInput mode: Press and hold the Home button + X button. Enables native controller vibration for cloud gaming services and emulators.
Note: The Razer Nexus Game Launcher app can automatically switch modes.
Customizing the Controller Lighting
Cycle Lighting Effects: Press and hold the Home button + Menu button to cycle through Static, Spectrum Cycling (default), and Wave effects.
Switch Colors (Static Effect): In Static effect, press and hold the Home button + D-pad directions (Up, Down, Left, Right) to cycle through Green (default), Cyan, Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Yellow, White.
Adjust Animation Speed (Spectrum Cycling or Wave Effect): In Spectrum cycling or Wave effect, press and hold the Home button + Menu button.
Note: Additional color options and effects can be configured via the Razer Nexus Game Launcher app.
Adjusting the Brightness Level
Increase Brightness: Press and hold the Home button + D-pad Up.
Decrease Brightness: Press and hold the Home button + D-pad Down.
7. Safety and Maintenance
Safety Guidelines
- Unplug the device if experiencing operating issues and contact Razer support or visit support.razer.com.
- Do not disassemble or operate under abnormal current loads, as this will void the warranty.
- Keep accessories away from small children to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Keep the device away from liquid, humidity, or moisture. Operate within the temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). If the temperature exceeds this range, detach the device to allow it to stabilize.
Maintenance and Use
The Razer Kishi Ultra requires minimal maintenance. Clean the device monthly with a soft cloth or cotton swab to prevent dirt buildup.
