Supported Models

This manual applies to the following FitNord e-bike models:

• AVA 300 / VENTURE 300 / RANGER 300
• CLASSIC 500 / AVA 500, 700FS / VENTURE 500 / RUMBLE 150, 300, 500 / CARGO 350
• RANGER 500, 700FS, 900
• RUMBLE 1000

Control Unit Overview

The control unit features several buttons and indicators:

• M Button: Power on/off, navigate menus, confirm selections.
• + Button: Increase assist level, navigate menus.
• - Button: Decrease assist level, navigate menus, activate push assist.
• Assist Level Indicator (D): Displays the current assist level.
• Speed Display (E): Shows current speed.
• Odometer (F): Displays total distance traveled.
• Battery Level Indicator (G): Shows the remaining battery charge.
• Travel Distance (H): Displays the distance for the current trip.
• Headlight Indicator (I): Indicates when the headlight is on.
• USB-C Charging Port (K): For charging the e-bike.
• USB Charging Indicator (L): Shows the status of USB charging.
• Headlight Switch (J): To turn the headlight on/off.
• Walk-Assist Button (K): Activates the push assist function.

Basic Operations

Turning the E-Bike On/Off

Press and hold the M button for 2-3 seconds to turn the e-bike on or off. (Note: For Rumble 150, the key must be inserted and turned clockwise first.)

Selecting Assist Level

Use the + / - buttons to toggle between assist levels. The assist level indicator (D) will show the current level.

Switching Display Interfaces

Briefly press the M button to cycle through different display interfaces (e.g., ODO, Trip, Trip Time, Max Speed, Average Speed).

Switching Headlight On/Off

Press and hold the Headlight Switch (J) for 3 seconds to turn the headlight on or off. The headlight indicator (I) will illuminate, and the display backlight may dim.

Push Assist Function

Press and hold the - button for 3 seconds to activate the push assist function. The e-bike will move at a steady speed of 6 km/h. The function deactivates when the button is released.

USB Charging

Connect a USB-C cable to the USB-C Charging Port (K). For some models, press and hold the M and + buttons for 3 seconds until the USB charging indicator (L) appears to start charging.

Resetting Trip Meter

Press and hold the + and - buttons for 3 seconds to enter the menu. Navigate to the "RESET TRIP" option using the +/- buttons, then press M to select. Choose "YES" to confirm and clear the trip data, then press M again to confirm. Press M on the "RETURN" option to go back to the previous interface, or long-press M to return to the main interface.

Technical Specifications

• USB Port: Type C USB port (5V/1000mA) for some models, Type A USB port for others.
• Water Resistance: IP65 or IPX6 rating depending on the model.
