This document is the user manual for the FitNord SlimWalk One treadmill. It provides essential information for safe and effective operation.
Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.
- General Safety: Consult a doctor before starting any exercise program. Listen to your body; stop immediately if you experience any discomfort such as chest pain, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, or dizziness. Keep children and pets away from the treadmill during use. The device is designed for adult use only. Ensure all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened before use. Use the device cautiously and stop if you notice any defects or abnormal sounds. Wear appropriate clothing to avoid entanglement. This device is for indoor, home use only. Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 120 kg. Do not overexert yourself. Keep this manual and assembly tools for future reference. This product is not a medical device.
- Usage Environment: Place the device on a firm, level surface to protect the floor. Ensure at least 0.5 meters of free space around the unit for safe operation. Do not use the device in damp or wet conditions as this may cause electrical component leakage. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, as it may damage parts or cause malfunctions.
- Warm-up: Warm up for 5-10 minutes by stretching muscles before each workout to prevent injuries.
- Maintenance & Care: Do not rinse the device with water, as it may cause rust or electrical leakage. Do not modify the device's structure without guidance. Wipe the surfaces with a soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals. Clean sweat after each use. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Check all screws and bolts weekly. Lubricate the running belt as needed with special silicone lubricant.
- Safety Zones: Ensure at least 2 meters of clear space behind the unit for emergency egress. Leave at least 1 meter of clear space on both sides.
- Proper Use: Wear suitable athletic shoes. Do not use the treadmill barefoot, with only socks, or with sandals. Keep your gaze straight ahead to avoid dizziness. Do not step on the edges of the walking mat. Do not place the treadmill on uneven or sloped surfaces. Do not step on or off the treadmill while it is running. Only one user is permitted at a time. Do not walk backward or sideways on the mat. Not suitable for pet use; keep pets away. Beware of fingers when folding or operating. Do not fold the treadmill while it is powered on. Unplug the power cord when the product is not in use.
- Storage: When storing the treadmill in an upright position, place it in a stable location with support points on both sides and keep it out of reach of children.

Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps for quick setup:
- Unpack: Remove all foam and packaging materials.
- Unfold: Unfold the treadmill and ensure all parts are present and intact.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a socket and ensure the power switch is turned on.
- Start Operation: Turn on the device using the power button on the remote control. The treadmill will start at a normal speed of 1.0 km/h.
Usage Instructions
Starting and Stopping: Connect the power cord and turn on the power switch. Press the power button on the remote control for 3 seconds to start the treadmill. The treadmill will begin at 1.0 km/h. Press the same button to stop the treadmill. The data will reset, and the device will stop slowly.
Remote Control Functions:
- On/Off Button: Starts the treadmill and sets the speed to 1.0 km/h. Stops the treadmill, resetting data and slowing it down.
- Speed +/- Buttons: Adjusts speed in 0.5 km/h increments. Holding the button continuously changes the speed.
Display Functions: The digital display shows:
- SPEED: Current speed.
- TIME: Elapsed workout time.
- DISTANCE: Distance covered during the workout.
- CALORIE: Calories burned during the workout.
Automatic Stop: If the device is left running continuously, it will automatically stop after 99 minutes and 59 seconds. To continue, restart the device by pressing the remote control.
Leveling: If the unit is uneven after setup, adjust the leveling feet to ensure it is horizontal.
Maintenance and Care
Daily Cleaning: Wipe the treadmill surfaces with a soft cloth. Do not use strong chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Wipe away sweat after each workout session.
Belt Lubrication: Check the belt's moisture by feeling its inner surface. If dry, add lubricant. Lubrication frequency:
- Use < 3 hours/week: Lubricate every 5 months.
- Use 4-7 hours/week: Lubricate every 2 months.
- Use > 7 hours/week: Lubricate monthly.
Belt Tension Adjustment: If the running belt feels loose or slips, adjust the tension screws by half a turn at a time. Ensure tension is balanced on both sides.
Belt Alignment Adjustment: If the belt runs off-center, adjust the alignment screws by half a turn at a time. Ensure the user's feet are centered on the belt and that force is applied evenly during running.
Warning: Always unplug the treadmill from the power source before cleaning or maintenance.
Troubleshooting (Error Codes)
Refer to the following table for error codes and their solutions:
- E01: Communication Problem
Description: Communication between the upper and lower units is not working.
Solution: Check the connection cable between the electronic meter and the controller. Ensure all wires are correctly seated. Replace damaged wires if necessary. - E02: Controller does not detect motor voltage
Solution: Check that the motor connections are sound. - E03: Speed sensor signal missing
Description: The lower unit sends voltage to the motor but does not receive speed feedback for over 3 seconds.
Solution: Ensure the sensor connection is correctly positioned and in good condition. Replace the sensor if necessary. Also, check the motor and controller connections. - E05: Surge protection
Description: Abnormal power supply voltage or motor malfunction may damage the circuit.
Solution: Ensure the power supply meets the correct voltage requirements. Check and replace the controller or motor if they show signs of burning or damage. - E06: Overcurrent protection
Description: Motor current exceeds the rated value for more than 5 seconds.
Solution: Check for possible overload conditions or obstructions on the running belt. Remove obstructions and restart the device. - E07: Safety lock signal not detected
Solution: Check the magnetic safety lock and its position.
Exercise Recommendations
Perform the following stretching exercises before and after your workout:
- Lower Back Stretch: Stand straight, bend your torso forward, and try to touch your toes with your hands. Hold for 10-15 seconds and relax. Repeat 3 times.
- Calf Stretch: Place one leg back straight, heel on the ground. Lean forward. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Repeat for both legs 3 times.
- Hamstring Stretch: Stand balanced, grab your ankle and pull your leg towards your buttocks. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Repeat for both legs 3 times.
