Installation Steps
Step 1
The diagram illustrates the initial mounting of the bracket. It shows the bracket being positioned on the engine block. Two blue spacers, labeled "2.72" SPACERS", are shown being inserted. A green socket cap bolt, labeled "SOCKET CAP 3/8 X 5in", is depicted passing through the bracket and into the engine, indicating its use for securing the bracket. The scale on the left indicates approximately 1 to 3 inches.
Step 2
This step focuses on attaching the main bracket assembly. Two green socket cap bolts, labeled "SOCKET CAP 3/8 X 1in", are shown being inserted through the bracket and into the engine, securing the component. The scale on the right indicates approximately 30 to 80 mm.
Step 3
The diagram shows the installation of the alternator. A red alternator is positioned against the bracket. The assembly uses blue spacers, labeled "3.25" SPACERS", and green socket cap bolts, labeled "SOCKET CAP 3/8 X 6in", to mount the alternator to the bracket. The scale on the left indicates approximately 4 to 7 inches.
Step 4
This final step demonstrates adjusting the belt tension. The diagram shows the belt routed around the pulleys. The text "ROTATE ALTERNATOR TO ADJUST TENSION" is clearly visible. A bolt labeled "5/16 X 1in" is shown, implying it is used to pivot the alternator for tension adjustment. The scale on the right indicates approximately 100 to 180 mm.
