Installation
Floor-mounted Installation
Installation Location Requirements:
Install on a level ground. A maximum of six battery modules can be stacked. For installations exceeding four modules, it is advised to arrange them in two columns.
Installation Procedure:
- Marking: Use the marking-off template to ensure accurate alignment for drilling.
- Drilling: Drill holes with an 8.0mm diameter and 45-50mm depth at the marked positions, ensuring a 90-degree angle.
- Fix Screws: Install M6 expansion screws into the wall/ground at the drilled holes.
- Install Connecting Pieces: Attach connecting pieces to the sides of the module and tighten the screws.
- Level Module: Use a level to ensure the battery module is perfectly horizontal.
- Install Anti-tipping Plates: Secure the anti-tipping plates to the sides of the module and tighten the screws.
- Secure Module: Fix the module to the wall/ground using the installed M6 expansion screws.
- Stacking Modules: For multiple modules, loosen the screws on the handles, move the handles up, and then tighten the screws to secure the modules together.
Wall-Mounted Installation
Installation Location Requirements:
Mount on a wall with sufficient load-bearing capacity (exceeding 280 kg). Ensure minimum clearances: 300mm on the sides, 100mm above and below. A maximum of five battery modules can be stacked vertically.
Installation Procedure:
- Install Wall Bracket: Securely mount the wall bracket to the wall.
- Marking: Use the marking-off template for precise hole placement on the wall.
- Drilling: Drill eight holes with an 8.0mm diameter and 45-50mm depth.
- Fix Screws: Install M6 expansion screws into the wall at the drilled holes.
- Install Anti-tipping Plates: Secure the anti-tipping plates to the sides of the module and tighten the screws.
- Fix Module to Bracket: Mount the battery module onto the installed wall bracket.
- Level Module: Use a level to ensure the battery module is horizontal.
- Secure Module: Fix the module to the wall using the installed M6 expansion screws.
- Stacking Modules: For multiple modules, loosen the screws on the handles, move the handles up, and then tighten the screws to secure the modules together.

Wiring and Connection
System Expansion: A maximum of six battery modules can be connected in parallel to a single power module.
Wiring Diagram: Connect DC input cables and signal cables between the Power Module (MOD 3-10KTL3-XH(BP)) and Battery Modules (APX 5.0P-B1). Ensure battery modules are paralleled correctly: B+ terminals connect to B+ terminals, and B- terminals connect to B- terminals.
Terminal Connection:
- Power Terminals: Connect the battery-side connector (INV BAT +, INV BAT .N) to the corresponding INV-side connector.
- Communication Terminals: Connect communication terminals to the PCS and between battery modules (Link-in/Link-out).
Note: It is not recommended to install a DC circuit breaker between the battery system and the PCS. If a DC circuit breaker is used, ensure its rated voltage is over 1000V and rated current is over 63A. Do not operate the DC circuit breaker while the system is powered on to avoid damage.
Key Operation
Power On:
- Turn on the DC Switch.
- Press the start key for more than 5 seconds.
Power Off:
- Turn off the DC Switch. Wait for over 90 seconds.
Safety Precautions:
- Before performing maintenance or repair, ensure the AC circuit breaker, PV switch of the PCS, and the APX switch are disconnected.
- Wait at least 15 minutes after the system is powered off.
- Verify that the Growatt Logo indicator on the APX is off before proceeding.
- Do not perform any operations until the system is completely shut down.
Parallel Operation: When multiple battery systems are connected in parallel, pressing the start key of any one module will start the entire system.
