Nakayama Pro NS1610 16L Sprayer

Shaping outdoor life.

Art No: 037538

Safety Instructions

This sprayer is not suited to use inflammable goods, otherwise it may cause fire, explosion or body injury.

  1. Before turning on the switch, do not exert excessive force to swing the operation arm continuously for a long time to avoid machine damage due to overpressure.
  2. While spraying pesticide, the user must be clothed and wear a mask and gloves to avoid pesticide touching the skin and damaging the body. Do not spray pesticide facing the wind. Do not spray pesticide towards other people, animals, and foodstuffs. Do not operate under high temperature for a long time.
  3. While handling pesticide, comply with safety directives seriously.
  4. Strictly forbid the use of high-toxic and high-residual pesticide for insects affecting vegetables, melons, gourds, fruits, tea, and medicinal herbs. Strictly control the safe-period for collection after applying pesticide.
  5. The sprayer cannot bear hot liquid. If damage or corrosion of the container is found, the hose is damaged, or the hose is slack or fallen off, stop loading pesticide and stop the operation.
  6. After operation, clean the sprayer to avoid corrosion of the spray machine by medicinal liquid or blockage of the spray head. It also avoids residual pesticide mixing with the next different pesticide, which may cause a chemical reaction, influence pesticide effect, or harm crops.
  7. If the sprayer is not used for a long period or is continuously operated for several days, apply Vaseline to the sealing washer and activating parts to reduce wear and ease obstruction.
  8. After use, store the sprayer in a dry indoor place. Keep out of reach of children.

Intended Use

This knapsack sprayer is especially suitable for the prevention and cure of diseases and insect infestations in crops, for blowers, plants, and gardens, for environmental sanitation of public places, and for epidemic prevention and sanitation of livestock poultry sheds.

Description of Main Parts

Operating Instructions

After opening the packing box of the new machine, check that all parts conform to the drawing. Then assemble the machine according to the structure sketch. Before use, unscrew the cap of the container.

Slowly pour the compounded medicinal liquid through the filter into the container. Then, close the cap tightly and place the machine on your back. After boosting the pressure in the air chamber, swing the operation arm and press the switch component to begin spray operation. It can be point-spray or continuous spray. Simultaneously, adjust the nut according to crop requirements to improve spraying quality.

Choose the appropriate spray head for correct spraying according to the job requirements. The machine is delivered with 3 types of spray heads (not included in all models):

Fan Style Spray Head

This sprays evenly and is suitable for spraying low and short-stalked crops and for spraying weedkiller. Keep the spray head stable and spray in the same direction as the wind.

Conical Spray Head

This can be used for spraying pesticide and insecticide to prevent diseases and kill insects. Spray in the same direction as the wind.

4 Hole Adjustable Spray Head

This can be used for spraying high-stalk crops and fruit trees. Its drawback is the significant running off of the medicinal liquid.

Fixing and Adjusting the Extension Spindle

Fixing:

First, check if the extension spindle and the switch end have a rubber sealing gasket. If a gasket is present, hold the switch handle tightly and turn the spindle by hand (no tool required). If no gasket is present, take a gasket from the spare parts bag and fix it at the end.

Adjusting:

Close the switch. Hold the outer extension spindle and loosen the spindle nut. Then, lengthen or shorten the inner spindle to achieve the necessary length. Finally, tighten the spindle nut securely. Spraying can now begin.
