Remote Control
Insert two AAA-sized batteries into your remote control, observing polarity. Do not expose the remote control sensors to direct sunlight or other strong light sources.
The remote control operates within a 60° angle up to approximately 5 meters. Aim the remote control at the device's sensor, ensuring no obstacles are between them. Placing the unit behind glass may shorten the operating distance.
Keys on the remote control function identically to those on the front panel.
Remote Control Functions (Amplifier & CD Player):
- VOLUME +/-: Volume control keys for the amplifier.
- INPUT: Input switching for the amplifier.
- AMP_ON/OFF: Turns the amplifier on and off.
- Large power button: Turns off both the amplifier and CD player simultaneously.
CD Player Functions:
- CD ON/OFF: Turns the CD player on and off.
- Numeric keypad (0-9): Direct track selection.
- Numeric key 0: Selects CD inputs (1.CD, 2.COAXIAL, 3.OPTICAL, 4.USB).
- Numeric keypad +10: Selects tracks with numbers higher than 10.
- REPEAT: Allows cyclical selection of single track repeat, entire disc repeat, or disabling repeat.
- BACKWARD |<<: Briefly pressed, jumps to the beginning of a track (if playback time > 5s); further presses jump one track back. Held down, playback moves smoothly backward.
- FORWARD >>|: Briefly pressed, jumps one track forward; held down, playback moves smoothly forward.
- OPEN: Closes and ejects the CD tray.
- STOP: Ceases CD disc playback.
- PLAY/PAUSE: Resumes or pauses CD disc playback.
Front Panel Controls
- MUTE: Pressing this button instantly mutes the volume. Pressing again restores the default volume.
- DIMM: Adjusts display brightness in six steps (0 = off, 5 = maximum). The default brightness is 3. Repeated pressing or holding the button lowers brightness (2, 1, 0) then cycles up to maximum (5) and back down. When the display is off, function keys will briefly light it up to brightness 2 before turning off again after a few seconds.

Basic Functions of Reproduction
Connect the power cord to the AI 2.10. Turn on the AI 2.10 using the main power switch located on the back panel. Upon switching on, the AI 2.10 enters stand-by mode, indicated by a red LED on the front panel. Pressing the Power button (on the front panel or remote control) initiates a controlled turn-on sequence, including cooling and preheating of the tubes to extend their lifespan.
The cooling cycle also operates when the unit is turned off via the front panel or remote control, provided the main switch on the back panel remains on. A 45-second countdown for cooling begins. If the unit is turned on during this period, the cooling continues, indicated by a flashing red LED. Once the cooling cycle is complete, the main toroidal transformer connects (the CANOR logo lights up), followed by a slow voltage start-up. This cycle lasts 45 seconds, after which the red LED stops flashing, and an output relay connects the signal to the last selected input, provided the main power supply was not disconnected.
During the first power-on or after disconnecting the main power supply, the IN1 input is preselected, and the volume is set to -44dB. Volume is adjustable in 63 steps of 1dB, ranging from 0dB (highest) to 63dB (lowest), with an additional MUTE step. Volume can be controlled using the large control knob on the front panel. The volume is managed by a relay attenuator with an accuracy better than 0.05dB.
The amplifier can connect to both 4 Ohm and 8 Ohm loudspeakers.
