Medela Waterless Milk Warmer™ Quick Start Guide

Instructions for use. Please consult the instruction manual for important safety measures before first use.

Getting Started

Prepare the Insert: Unfold the insert and place it into the warmer cavity. Ensure it is evenly distributed.
Place the Tray: Insert the tray with the flat side down into the bottom of the warmer.
Power Up: Press the power button to turn on the device.

Choosing a Program

A. Choose the Mode: Select WARM or THAW. Press Enter.

B. Choose Departure Temperature: Select the starting temperature of the milk (Refrigerated, Ambient, or Frozen). Press Enter. Note: The "Frozen" mode defaults to "Defrost".

C. Choose Volume: Select the volume of milk to warm. Press Enter. Hold the arrow key to advance more quickly.

D. Confirm and Start: Review the settings (Mode, Departure Temp., Volume). Press Start to begin.

Ready Indicator

A flashing green light indicates the milk is ready.

When to Remove

Defrost Complete: Remove milk before ice melts.
On Hold: The warmer maintains temperature for 30 minutes. Remove the container when ready to feed the baby. Note: Lifting the lid pauses or stops the process.
Nourish: Feed the baby.

Using the Colostrum Protector

Tip: To warm or thaw milk in the Colostrum Protector, refer to the "How to warm and thaw using the Colostrum Protector" section.

The Medela Colostrum Protector's double wall acts as an insulator, requiring additional time in the waterless milk warmer for effective defrosting and warming. Use the provided table for specific guidance.

Note: The table above is specifically for the Medela Colostrum Protector. These instructions do not apply to other containers. For 2 mL from frozen, defrost first, then warm according to the table.
