Setup & Preparation: Assembly
Fitting the Lower Handles
1. Place the lower handle into the mount. 2. Secure with a washer and fastening screw. 3. Repeat for the other side.
Fitting the Upper Handle
1. Align holes in upper and lower handles. 2. Insert handle securing lever bolt from inside. 3. Place washer and handle securing lever onto bolt. 4. Lock lever to secure. 5. Repeat for opposite side. Note: Select appropriate hole on upper handle for user height.
Securing the Cord
Ensure cord follows handle smoothly. Push supplied cord clip over cord and onto lower handle. Care should be taken not to pinch cord when folding handle.
Inserting & Removing the Batteries
Inserting the Batteries into the Mower
Note: Always use 2 batteries of the same capacity and charge state. 1. Pull securing latch, open battery cover. 2. Slide two batteries into mower, aligning ribs until they click. 3. Insert safety key (remove if not using immediately). 4. Close battery cover.
Removing the Batteries from the Mower
1. Pull securing latch, open battery cover. 2. Press battery release tab and remove batteries. 3. Close battery cover.
Fitting and Removing the Grass Catcher
WARNING! Only fit/remove when mower is OFF and motor has stopped. 1. Lift catcher flap, guide catcher over mower hooks. 2. Lower catcher and flap into place. 3. To remove, lift flap and remove catcher.
WARNING! Ensure no grass build-up in chute after emptying.
Grass Catcher Indicator
Indicator flap at rear shows when catcher is full (flap down).
Operation
3. Controls: Switching On and Off
Mower has a dual-action switch to prevent accidental start. 1. Press and hold lock-off button. 2. Pull start/stop lever towards handle to start, then release lock-off button. 3. Release start/stop lever to stop.
4. Mowing
Wear substantial footwear and long trousers. Clear lawn of debris. Check for wear/damage before/after impact. Replace worn/damaged blades.
Lawn Mowing Tips
Start mowing edges, overlap passes. Mow in straight lines. For long grass, use highest cutting height first, then lower for desired height to avoid overloading motor.
Adjusting the Cutting Height
Provides 5 heights (25-65mm). 1. Push lever down. 2. Adjust to desired height. 3. Release lever, ensure it's secure.
CAUTION! Be careful of fingers during height adjustment.
DO NOT MOW IN POOR VISIBILITY, RAIN, OR WET GRASS.
Maintenance
Removing and Fitting the Blade
WARNING! ALWAYS USE GLOVES. 1. Loosen blade bolt anti-clockwise with a 13mm socket (use timber to hold blade). 2. Remove bolt, washer, blade. Replace blade after 50 hours or 2 years. 3. Fit new blade over centre hole, align lugs. 4. Tighten bolt clockwise. Do not overtighten.
Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage
Keep nuts/bolts tight. Check catcher for wear. Replace worn parts. Use specified replacement blade/bolt. Be careful of fingers during adjustments. Store in dry, frost-free location away from children. Clean housing with a moist cloth/brush, not solvents. Check wheel threads.

Setup & Preparation: Assembly
Fitting the Blower Tubes
1. Align split blower tube with blower outlet. 2. Push tube onto blower until it clicks. 3. Align extension with split tube end, slide into place. 4. Rotate extension clockwise to lock. 5. Rotate anti-clockwise to remove.

Switching On and Off

4. Operation: Blowing
Ideal for leaves, grass clippings, debris. Split tube for easy cleaning, full tube for paths/driveways. Hold firmly, squeeze switch, point air forward, move slowly. Move side-to-side, tube inches above ground. Be careful where air is pointed to avoid injury/damage. Be aware of others and animals. Avoid collisions with hard objects.
Maintenance
WARNING! Ensure tool is stopped and battery removed before maintenance. Keep air intake/vents clean. Do not use solvents for cleaning; use mild detergent on damp cloth. Stop if blower vibrates abnormally. No lubrication needed.

Setup & Preparation: Assembly
Fitting the Safety Guard
1. Turn trimmer upside down. Align guard tabs with cutter head recess. 2. Slide guard in until it clicks.
WARNING! NEVER USE TRIMMER UNLESS SAFETY GUARD IS PROPERLY FITTED.
Fitting the Spindle Plate
1. Place spindle plate onto spindle, secure with provided screw.
Fitting the Secondary Handle
1. Place adjustable handle over bracket. 2. Secure with supplied locking knob.
Operation
Fitting the Flower Guard
Attach flower guard to motor housing.
Attaching a Blade
1. Place large hole in blade onto spindle plate mount. 2. Pull blade outwards to fit small hole into mount. 3. To remove, push blade towards centre and slide off.

Adjusting the Height
1. Loosen shaft adjustment collar. 2. Extend to desired height, retighten collar.
Adjusting the Secondary Handle
1. Loosen locking knob. 2. Rotate handle to desired position, tighten knob.

Switching On and Off
CAUTION! Ensure trimmer is not contacting objects before starting. 1. Squeeze on/off trigger to start. 2. Release trigger to stop.
Using the Grass Trimmer
WARNING! Inspect area for wires/strings that could entangle blade. Hold with both handles. Move trimmer side-to-side at approx. 30° angle. Several passes for long grass. Release trigger to stop. Allow motor to stop completely.
WARNING! DO NOT OPERATE ON TREES, LADDERS, OR SCAFFOLDS.
WARNING! OBJECTS CAN BE THROWN AT HIGH SPEED.
NOTE: BEST RESULTS ON DRY GRASS.
CAUTION! BYSTANDERS MUST MAINTAIN 10M SAFE DISTANCE.

Maintenance

Battery Protection System

Protects blade when not in use. Slide off before use, replace after operation.
WARNING! NEVER START TRIMMER WHILE BLADE COVER IS FITTED.

Attach safety guard using supplied screws.

Operation
Front Handle
1. Position front handle, ensure lock is on the right for correct electrical contact. 2. Fit and tighten screw securely while holding lock closed. Note: Tighten screw only with lock closed. 3. To adjust position, open lock, adjust, close lock to hold. Note: Ensure lock is fully closed for motor to start.

1. Press and hold release tab, slide battery out.

3. Controls
Rotating Rear Handle
Rotatable 90° left/right. 1. Slide locks back, rotate handle. Lock snaps back. 2. To return, release lock, rotate handle. Note: Lock won't pull back if trigger is pressed.
Switching On and Off
Requires two-handed operation (safety switch + trigger). 1. Press and hold safety switch on front handle. 2. Squeeze on/off trigger to start. 3. Releasing either switch stops the trimmer.
WARNING! TRIMMER MAY RUN FOR SECONDS AFTER SWITCHING OFF. ALLOW COMPLETE STOPPAGE.
Safety switches prevent unsafe operation. Ensure full assembly.
4. Operation
Top Cutting
Use wide sweeping motion. Slight downward tilt of blades in cutting direction for best results.
Side Cutting
Start at bottom, cut upwards. Trim hedge slightly narrower at top for uniform growth.
Maintenance
Sharpening the cutting blade
1. Start/stop trimmer until blade/guard offset. 2. Remove battery. 3. Clamp blade assembly, file teeth (remove minimal material). 4. Repeat for unsharpened edges. Note: Do not use dull/damaged blades.
Lubricating the blade
Apply light machine oil to top blade edge before/after use. 1. Remove battery. 2. Lay trimmer flat. Apply oil.
DO NOT OIL WHILE TRIMMER IS RUNNING.
Cleaning and Storage
Keep air intake/vents clean. Clean housing with damp cloth/soft brush. Stop if trimmer vibrates abnormally. Always fit blade cover before storing/transporting. Store indoors, dry, out of reach of children.

Charging Your Lithium Ion Battery
Battery shipped in low charge; charge before use. Allow cycles for optimum performance. Compatible with Ozito Power X Change chargers. 1. Connect charger to mains (green LED flashes). 2. Insert battery into charger. 3. Remove battery when fully charged, disconnect charger. Note: Battery may become warm.
Battery Charge Indicator
Press button to check charge level: Red flashing (low charge), Red illuminated (fast charge), Green illuminated (full charge).
Battery Protection System

WARNING! Charger should be protected by RCD (30mA or less). 1. Connect charger to power (green LED flashes). 2. Align and slide battery into charger. 3. Red LED illuminates during charging. 4. Green LED illuminates when charged.

2. Maintenance
Disconnect charger before cleaning. Keep charger dry, out of reach of children. Clean enclosure with dry, soft cloth only. Never immerse charger in liquid. No other user-serviceable parts. Do not disassemble.
