For Boston EHW194 and EHW094 Hose with SOCKETLESS, FD83, and UQD Connectors
SOCKETLESS® Fittings
For low pressure service.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Cut hose to required length with a sharp knife. Apply oil to the inside of the hose and the outside of the SOCKETLESS nipple liberally.
Step 2: Push the hose onto the fitting until the hose end bottoms underneath the protective cap. For quantity production, use a SOCKETLESS fitting assembly machine.
Disassembly Instructions
Step 1: Slit the hose lengthwise from the protective cap to the end of the nipple.
Step 2: Bend the hose, then snap the hose off the fitting with a quick tug.

The clamp features include 'Ear width', 'Tongue-in-groove design', and 'Interlock'.

Note: The use of a clamp is dependent on the performance parameters of the hose. Please refer to hose pressure ratings for guidance on when a clamp is required.

Hose assembly instructions for quick disconnect coupling with Boston EHW094 & EHW194 hose.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Cut hose to required length with a sharp knife. Apply oil to the inside of the hose and the outside of the nipple liberally.
Step 2: Push hose onto the coupling hose barb until the hose end touches the flat surface of the coupling body.
Disassembly Instructions
Step 1: Slit hose lengthwise from the edge of the coupling body to the end of the barb.
Step 2: Bend hose, then snap hose off with a quick tug.
