Assembly of clamped, socketless fittings

Step 1

Trim exposed helical wires after the hose has been cut to length and sufficiently cleaned.

Step 2

Push hose onto the coupling hose barb until hose end touches the flat surface of the coupling body. Optional: Soak the end of the hose in hot water to reduce insertion force.

Step 3

Position clamps according to the table below and crimp the ears. Ensure the ears are fully crimped.

Disassembly of clamped, socketless fittings

Step 1

Remove the clamps from the hose assembly. Cut the hose with abrasive wheel, taking extreme care not to damage the hose barb.

Step 2

Remove the hose from the hose barb.
