- ALWAYS install the anti-tip device provided.
- NEVER put a TV on this product.
- NEVER allow children to stand, climb, or hang on any drawers, doors, or shelves.
- NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
- Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
Read and follow each step of the instructions carefully.
Tools Required
The following tools are recommended for assembly:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flat head screwdriver
- Hammer
- Drill
- Drill bits: 8 mm (5/16") and 3 mm (1/8")
An Allen key (part 131398) is included.
Assembly Steps
Step 1-3: Attach Drawer Slides to Cabinet Panels
Attach the drawer slides to the main cabinet side panels and internal dividers. Use screws (e.g., 100347) and ensure the slides are correctly oriented (marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right). The slides are typically secured with multiple screws.
Step 4-6: Assemble the Main Cabinet Frame
Connect the base panel, side panels, and top panel to form the main cabinet structure. Use wooden dowels (e.g., 101345) for alignment and fasteners like cam locks or screws (e.g., 100347) for securing the joints.
Step 7-13: Install Internal Dividers and Supports
Insert the internal vertical dividers and horizontal support beams into the pre-drilled holes in the cabinet frame. Secure these components using dowels and screws as indicated in the diagrams.
Step 14-15: Attach Back Panels
Slide the thin back panels into the grooves on the rear edges of the cabinet frame. If necessary, secure them further with small nails or screws, ensuring the cabinet is square.
Step 16-17: Attach Drawer Runners to Drawer Boxes
Assemble the drawer boxes. Attach the corresponding drawer runners to the sides of each drawer box using screws (e.g., 151706, 151705) and connectors (e.g., 10093081, 10093082).
Step 18-21: Assemble Drawer Boxes
Construct the drawer boxes by joining the drawer front, back, and side panels. Use dowels (e.g., 101352) for alignment and screws for fastening. Slide the drawer base panel into the grooves on the drawer sides and front/back.
Step 22-23: Attach Drawer Fronts and Handles
Attach the drawer fronts to the assembled drawer boxes. Secure the handles to the drawer fronts using the provided screws (e.g., 102553, 100347, 131399, 157732).
Step 24-26: Insert Drawers into Cabinet
Carefully align the runners on the assembled drawers with the corresponding runners inside the cabinet frame. Slide the drawers into place until they engage properly.
Step 27-29: Install Anti-Tip Device
This is a critical safety step. Secure the furniture to the wall using the provided anti-tip hardware. Follow the instructions carefully, selecting the appropriate wall anchors (e.g., 126916, 147968) for your wall type (solid or hollow). Seek professional advice if unsure.
