User Guide
1. Get Started
Plug in the electric power supply. Slip the lens cover to the end; the blue indicator light will illuminate, indicating the device is turned on.
If the lens cover is opened while the device is turned off, press the XGIMI button located in the middle of the black disc for 3 seconds to turn the device on.

2. Shutting Down
Press the "power" key on the remote control, then choose shutdown, restart, or shutdown LED/shutdown timer.
To turn off the device completely, long press the "XGIMI" key on the middle of the black disc for 3 seconds.

3. Focusing
To engage the focusing function, slip the "fn" key on the bottom of the remote control to the right side. Use the "volume +" and "volume -" buttons to adjust the image definition.
To disengage the focusing function when the image is definite, slip the "fn" key on the bottom of the remote control to the left side.

4. Bluetooth Remote-Control
1. Keys Description

2. Remote-Control Pairing
Note: Please charge the remote control for 30 minutes before the first time use.
Place the remote control within 10 cm of the device. Press and hold the "Return" and "Home" buttons simultaneously. The green indicator light will blink for 3 seconds, followed by a quick blue indicator light blink. Release the buttons to initiate pairing.
If pairing is successful, the blue indicator light will flash continuously for 2 seconds and then extinguish. If pairing fails, exit pairing mode after a 30-second timeout and repeat the steps.

3. Charge the Remote-Control
When the red indicator appears and blinks, please charge the remote control.

4. Introduction of Remote-Control Functions
- Focusing Function: Slip "fn" key to the right side to turn on. Adjust definition with "volume +" and "volume -".
- Gravity Sensor Function: Slip "fn" key to the right side to turn on. Compatible with games supporting gravity sensors. Use horizontally. Slip "fn" key to the left side to turn off. When active, mouse function is unavailable, and the blue indicator light flashes continuously.
- Mouse Function: Shake the remote control quickly and forcibly to toggle the mouse function on/off.
- Menu Key Function: Short press the [Menu] key to open the menu; long press the [Menu] key to open the shortcut function.
- Power Status: Red indicator light flashes continuously when charging. Green indicator light flashes continuously when charging is complete. Red indicator blinks quickly 4 times for low power, and 10 times for very low power, requiring immediate charging.
- Stand-by and Sleep Conditions: In working mode, the remote control enters sleep condition after 10 seconds of inactivity, awoken by any button press.
- Reset Function: If the remote control system crashes, press the reset button. The red indicator light will blink 3 times upon completion.
5. Switch Desktop Versions
On the home page, press the "Up" key to access the shortcut entry. Switch between standard and business versions via System setup > General setup > Desktop version.
6. Switch Languages
Navigate to System setup > International setting to choose your language and time zone.
7. Application Management
- Application Search: Access the Aptoide App market, press the search symbol, enter the application name, and download. Use the mouse function if an app is not compatible with the remote.
- Application Update: Go to Aptoide > Updates to update installed applications.
- Application Move/Delete: Select the app you wish to change, then long press the [OK] key to move, uninstall, or collect it.
8. Projection Setup
- Keystone Correction: In System setup > Projection setup, press [OK] to choose an adjustment point. Use the direction keys to adjust keystone horizontally or vertically. Press the "Return" key to save and exit.
- Projection Mode Setup: Navigate to System setup > Projection setup > Projection mode setup to choose the mode based on device placement.
- Stepless Zooming: In System setup > Projection setup > Stepless zooming, adjust frame size and aspect ratio.
- Image Adjustment: Long press the [Menu] key for 2 seconds, then release. A shortcut setting function will appear at the bottom of the screen for image preference adjustment.
System Settings
- Keyboard Setting: System setup > General > Keyboard, to choose the input method.
- Device Name: System setup > About > Device name, to choose or customize your device's name.
9. System Update
1. Online Update
Go to System setup > About > System update. The device will notify you when a newer version is detected. Press "Online update" to update.
2. USB Update
- Download the USB force update patch from the official XGIMI website, decompress the file, and save it to a USB drive.
- Connect the device to a power supply, then plug the USB drive into the device's USB 2.0 port.
- Navigate to System setup > About > System update > USB update and wait for the update to complete.
- Alternatively, insert a needle into the RESET hole and open the lens cover. Wait until the system enters the update interface, release the button, and wait for the update to complete.
Note: Do not remove the USB drive or power supply during the updating process. Ensure the USB drive is formatted as FAT32.
10. Video Playing Setup
- Play Progress Adjustment: Use the "Left" and "Right" keys to adjust the playback progress.
- Subtitle Setup: While playing a video, press the [Menu] key to access the subtitle menu for adjustments.
- 3D Setup: While playing a video, press the [Menu] key to access the 3D setup menu and select the 3D mode.
11. Device Connection & Mirroring Display
- Network Setup: System setup > Network setup > WiFi setup, to choose and connect to a network.
- WiFi Hotspot: System setup > Network setup > WiFi hotspot. Turn on the WiFi hotspot to allow other devices to find and connect to the XGIMI device by entering the password.
- Miracast: System setup > Network setup > Miracast. Turn on Miracast to enable mobile phones or PCs supporting Miracast to connect and use the XGIMI as a mirroring display.
- AirPlay: System setup > Network setup > AirPlay. Turn on AirPlay to enable mobile phones or PCs supporting AirPlay to connect and use the XGIMI as a mirroring display.
- Bluetooth & External Device: System setup > Bluetooth & external device. Pair and connect external Bluetooth devices such as speakers, remote controls, and gamepads.
- Wired Setup: System setup > Network setup > Wired setup. Plug an Ethernet cable into the internet port on the back of the XGIMI device.
12. Resource Management
1. Add Device
In FileManager, select "Add device" to choose and add a remote sharing file.
2. File Management
In FileManager, long press the [OK] key to display a selection box. Press the [Menu] key to choose copy, cut, paste, delete, rename, or view details.
3. File Viewing
Plug in a USB drive, open "File Manager", and view the files. Press the [Menu] key for more functions.
4. Magic Popup
- On the home page, press the "Up" key to open the shortcut entry at the top of the screen. Functions include switching desktop versions, WiFi setup, Bluetooth, and ejecting USB.
- On the home page, press the "Down" key to open the collection entry at the bottom of the screen, allowing users to add favorite Apps for quick access.
- On the home page, press the "Left" key to the end to open the input shortcut entry on the left side of the screen and choose the preferred input source.
5. Cleaning Memory
If an App's operation becomes unstable, use the "Clear memory" App to clean the background processes before re-entering the App.
Additional functionalities described in relation to the home page:
- Mobile phone remote control: The device can be easily controlled by a mobile phone.
- Mobile phone resource: Send resources from a mobile phone to the device to view photos or videos.
- Mirroring display control: Mirror to a mobile phone, supporting gravity sensor games.
13. XGIMI Assistance
Scan the QR code to download the XGIMI assistant application.
