Discover how to easily connect and control your Beltone hearing aids using the Beltone HearMax™ and Beltone HearPlus™ mobile applications on your smartphone or mobile device.

Introduction
Thank you for choosing Beltone products. This app is designed to simplify the use and control of your hearing aids from your smartphone or mobile device. For information on compatible smartphones and mobile devices, please visit beltone.com/compatibility.
Before you can use the app, you must pair your smartphone or mobile device with your hearing aids. Follow the steps below for an easy pairing process.
How to Pair Your Hearing Aids with Your iOS Device
(Instructions reflect pairing flow for iOS 13 or later)
- Turn your hearing aids off.
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device by going to the Settings menu. The Bluetooth slider will turn green when activated.
- Navigate back to the main Settings menu and scroll down to tap on Accessibility.
- Scroll down within Accessibility and tap on Hearing Devices.
- Turn your hearing aids on. Your iOS device should now detect your hearing aids.
- Once connected, select your hearing aids under the Hearing Devices menu.
- Tap on Pair.
- Open the App Store on your iOS device. In the search field, enter the name of the app.
- Download the Beltone HearMax app, open it, and tap Get Started.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection to the app.
- You are now ready to use the app.
To re-pair your iOS device:
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Tap Accessibility.
- Select Hearing Devices and tap Forget this device.
- Turn your iOS device off and on again, then re-pair the hearing aids to the device.

Hands-Free Calls for Beltone Imagine Users with Compatible Apple Devices
When Beltone Imagine hearing aids are paired with compatible Apple devices, they function as a hands-free headset by default.
How to take/end calls:
- Short press your hearing aid button (on either side) or use your iPhone or iPad.
How to decline/ignore calls:
- Long press your hearing aid button (on either side) or use your iPhone or iPad.
If you receive another call while on an active call, follow the same instructions above. If an incoming call is declined, the device automatically returns to the first/previous call.
How to change the volume of calls:
- Use the up and down volume buttons on your iPhone or iPad.
Hands-free call functionality is compatible with iPhone 11 or later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation), iPad Air (4th generation), and iPad mini (6th generation) with software updates iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 or later.
How to Pair Your Hearing Aids with Your Android™ Device
- Download the Beltone HearMax app from Google Play.
- Open the app and tap Yes, connect now.
- If prompted, grant access to your mobile device's location by selecting Allow.
- The app will guide you through the remaining process. Reboot your hearing aids as required by turning them off and on again, following the steps outlined in the app.
- Pairing is complete.
Note: If you have previously paired hearing aids, you must unpair them from your phone's Bluetooth menu before attempting to pair them again.
These instructions are also applicable for pairing Beltone Rely 2 with a compatible iOS device.
How to Disable Hands-Free Calls (iOS)
- Triple-click the iPhone or iPad push button to access the iOS hearing aid settings.
- Scroll down and select "Input Options".
- Select "Off".
