Main Unit Controls
Display and Encoders
3.5-inch Color Display: Visually presents the effect chain, status values, and various menu options.
EDIT Encoder: Allows users to select, toggle On/Off, and adjust parameters by pressing or rotating.
MASTER Knob: Controls the overall master volume level.
Buttons
SWITCH: Toggles the On/Off status of selected effect modules within the effect chain.
PLAY: Enters PLAY mode, typically displaying preset information.
SAVE: Used to save current settings and presets.
BACK: Navigates back to the previous page or the home display.
Footswitches
Footswitch A
Press: Switches to preset A in the current bank within the effect chain display.
Press and Hold: Enters Drum Machine mode. In Drum Machine mode, it scrolls down through drum grooves. In Looper mode, it functions as REC/DUB/PLAY.
Footswitch B
Press: Switches to preset B in the current bank within the effect chain display.
Press and Hold: Enters Looper mode. In Drum Machine mode, it scrolls up through drum grooves. In Looper mode, it functions as STOP/DELETE.
Footswitch C
Press: Switches to preset C in the current bank within the effect chain display.
Press and Hold: Enters Tuner mode. In Drum Machine mode, it plays/stops the drum machine. In Looper mode, it plays/stops the drum machine.
Footswitch D
Press: Switches to preset D in the current bank within the effect chain display.
Press and Hold: Enters Tap Tempo mode. This function is also available in Drum Machine and Looper modes.
Bank Navigation
Bank Down (Footswitch A + B): Scrolls down through preset banks.
Bank Up (Footswitch C + D): Scrolls up through preset banks.
Rear Panel Connections
EXP (Expression Pedal Input): A 1/4" TRS jack for connecting an external expression pedal.
OUTPUT: Dual 1/4" mono audio jacks for stereo or mono output.
USB-C Port: Connects to a computer for AME-200 software or for OTG direct recording.
INPUT: A 1/4" audio jack for connecting your instrument.
PHONE: A 1/8" stereo headphone output jack.
9V Power Port: Connects to the included power supply.
On-Screen Display Elements
Input Level Meter: Displays the incoming signal level from the instrument.
Preset Area: Shows the current preset number and name.
Expression Pedal Mode Indicator: Indicates if the expression pedal is off, set to volume mode, or wah mode (e.g., EXP:VOL).
Output Level Meter: Shows the output signal level for the left and right channels.
Effect Chain Area: Visualizes the loaded effect modules and their On/Off status within the effect chain.
Global BPM: Displays the global tempo. The EDIT encoder can be used to access BPM settings.
System Setting: Access the system settings menu using the EDIT encoder.
Drum Machine: Access the Drum Machine menu by using the EDIT encoder or holding Footswitch A.
Looper: Access the Looper menu by using the EDIT encoder or holding Footswitch B.
