Jewenwils Outdoor Mechanical Pin Timer

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, strictly follow these instructions:

1. The timer must be mounted in a vertical position with the outlet facing downward and at least 2 feet (0.6 meters) above ground level.
2. Do not connect any devices that may exceed the maximum ratings of this timer.
3. Do not immerse the timer in water.
4. Children are not allowed to use the timer without supervision.
5. Do not disassemble or repair the product; only authorized service personnel should perform repairs.
6. Always unplug and store the timer indoors when not in use.
7. This is a cord-connected operating control.

Button Layout and Components

The Jewenwils Outdoor Mechanical Pin Timer features a side switch, a timer dial, and an outlet for controlled devices.

1. Side Switch

The side switch is used to set the timer function: either 'Always ON' or 'Timer Control'.

2. Timer Dial

The timer dial is marked with time increments. Day time is approximately 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and night time is approximately 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Each pin on the dial represents 30 minutes, meaning 2 pins equal 1 hour. Pins in the down position indicate 'ON' (power supplied), while pins in the up position indicate 'OFF' (power cut). The dial has a central rotating mechanism with a series of push-pins around its circumference, and an arrow indicating the current time.

3. Outlet

Plug lights or other electrical devices to be controlled by the timer into this outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Set the current time: Turn the dial clockwise until the arrow indicates the current time.
2. Program ON/OFF periods: Begin with all pins pulled up. Push the pins down for the periods you want the timer to be ON. Pins in the down position represent 'ON' (Light/Device ON), and pins in the up position represent 'OFF' (Light/Device OFF).

   Note: Pins indicated by the arrow cannot be pressed down; rotate the dial to make them workable.

3. Activate Timer Function: Push the 'ON /TIMER' switch to the 'TIMER' position and plug the timer into a wall socket. To override the timer operation, set the switch to the 'ON' position; the power supply will always be ON. Ensure the switch is set back to 'TIMER' for proper timer function.
4. Connect Device: Plug your electrical device directly into the timer. Ensure the device itself is in the 'ON' state so the timer can properly control its operation.
5. Reset after Blackout: If a power outage occurs, reset the timer as indicated above.
