Using Your RoboVac
Step 1: Initial Setup
Remove the sticker next to the power switch and the foam blocks beside the bumper before use.
Step 2: Charging Base Placement
Ensure adequate clearance around the charging base: 1 meter (3 ft) to the left and right, and 2 meters (6 ft) in front. If you cannot remove surrounding objects, check if RoboVac can return without assistance; contact eufy customer service if not.
Step 3: Powering the Charging Base
Always keep the Charging Base plugged in for automatic return. The LED indicator on the Charging Base is SOLID WHITE when connected to AC power.
Step 4: Charging RoboVac
Fully charge RoboVac before use. The LED indicator breathes orange while charging and turns solid blue when fully charged.
Step 5: Connecting to Wi-Fi via App
Download the EufyHome app and follow the in-app instructions to complete the Wi-Fi connection. This allows you to control RoboVac remotely. Refer to the Owner's Manual for more details.
Important Tips for Optimal Performance
When using for the first time, observe RoboVac to identify and resolve any potential issues.
- Tip a: Clear Floor Hazards: Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that may entangle RoboVac.
- Tip b: Rug Care: Fold tasseled edges of area rugs underneath to prevent tangling. Avoid cleaning very dark-colored or high-pile rugs thicker than 26 mm (1.02 in) as they may cause malfunction.
- Tip c: Prevent Getting Stuck: Keep RoboVac away from spaces lower than 73 mm (2.87 in) to prevent it from getting stuck. Use physical barriers for problem areas if necessary.
- Tip d: Avoid Wet Areas: Keep RoboVac away from wet areas.
- Tip e: Low Obstacles: RoboVac may climb objects less than 16 mm (0.63 in) in height. Remove such objects if possible.
- Tip f: Anti-Drop Sensor Performance: Anti-drop sensors help prevent falls down stairs or steep drops. Sensors are less effective if dirty or on reflective/very dark/carpeted floors. Use physical barriers to block potential fall areas.
- Tip g: Fireplace & Damage Prevention: Place physical barriers in front of fireplaces and areas that could damage RoboVac.
