Product Description
The pair of photoelectric cells allows an automated system's motor to be stopped or reversed in the event of an obstacle detection. This enhances safety by preventing potential damage or injury.

- Use appropriate tools for installation.
- The cells must only be used with a force limiting device conforming to the EN 12453 standard Appendix A.
- Do not dispose of scrapped appliances or used batteries with household waste. Relocate electronic and electrical equipment waste to a dedicated collection point for recycling.
Installation Instructions
- Wire the emitting cell (TX): Connect the wires to the TX unit as shown in Figure 7. Close the emitting cell cover.
- Wire the receiving cell (RX): Connect the wires to the RX unit as shown in Figure 9.
- Standard Connection: Refer to page 1 for the standard connection to your motor/receiver.
- Alignment Check:
- If the indicator light on the RX unit does not illuminate (Figure 10a), adjust the alignment of the receiving cell using a shim. Re-check the alignment.
- If the indicator light illuminates continuously (Figure 10b), the alignment is correct. Close the casing.
Maintenance
Every 6 months, check that the photoelectric cells are functioning correctly by passing a hand in front of them.
