Product Overview
The toaster features the following components:
- 1. Toast slots: Openings for inserting bread.
- 2. Lever for toast lift: Used to lower bread into the slots and lift it when done.
- 3. Defrost button with LED: Activates the defrost function (❄️).
- 4. Rotary selector for toasting degree: Adjusts the browning level (settings 1-6).
- 5. Cancel button with LED: Stops the toasting process immediately.
- 6. Integrated warming rack: For warming rolls or pastries.
- 7. Lever for warming rack: Operates the warming rack.
- 8. Crumb tray: Collects crumbs, slides out for cleaning.
- 9. Cord store: For winding and storing the power cord.
Preparing the Appliance for First Use
Before the first use, it is recommended to run the toaster empty to remove any manufacturing residues. This helps to eliminate any odors.
Instructions:
- Heat up the toaster 3 times without bread.
- Use the highest toasting degree setting.
- Ensure good ventilation (e.g., near an open window).
- Allow the appliance to cool down between cycles.
Operation
General Information
Please follow these guidelines for optimal use:
- You can stop the current toasting process at any time by pressing the button.
- If toast gets jammed, the appliance will switch off automatically. Unplug the toaster, let it cool down, and carefully remove the jammed bread.
- Experiment with different toasting degree settings for the first few uses, as results vary based on bread type and moisture.
- When toasting a single slice of bread, use a lower toasting degree than for two slices.
- Be aware that acrylamide can form in cereal and potato products at very high temperatures. Toast food until golden-yellow, not too dark, and remove any burnt edges.
Toasting Degree Setting
Adjust the browning level according to your bread type and personal preference:
Setting | Use |
---|---|
1-2 | Lowest setting to warm bread or pre-toasted food without toasting. Low toasting degree for dry types of bread. |
3-4 | Medium toasting degree for moist types of bread. |
5-6 | High toasting degree for very moist types of bread or thick slices of bread. |
Toasting, Warming, or Defrosting Slices of Bread (Refer to Diagrams 5-9)
Insert bread slices into the toast slots and lower the lever [lever for toast lift]. Select the desired toasting degree. Press the

After starting the toasting process, press the

Use the integrated warming rack. Do not heat bread rolls and toast slices simultaneously.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures proper functioning and longevity of the appliance.
Important: Clean the crumb tray [crumb tray] regularly to prevent malfunctions.
General Cleaning (Refer to Diagram 17):
- Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth [cleaning cloth].
- Crumb Tray: Slide out and empty. Wash if necessary.
- Warming Rack: Can be cleaned with a brush [brush].
Do Not Use:
- Water immersion: Never immerse the appliance or power cord in water or clean in the dishwasher [dishwasher symbol].
- Near water: Do not use near sinks or bathtubs.
- Steam or high-pressure cleaners [water spray].
- Oven or grill sprays.
- Harsh abrasive cleaners.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.

General Safety:
- Only use this appliance under supervision, in private households, at room temperature, and up to an altitude of 2000m.
- It is intended for toasting, warming, or defrosting bread, rolls, and similar foods.

- Children aged 8 and over, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, may use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and potential dangers.

- Children under 8 years must be kept away from the appliance and its power cable.
- User maintenance (cleaning) should only be performed by children aged 8 and over under supervision.
- Connect only to a properly installed, earthed socket with alternating current, according to rating plate specifications.
- Do not use external switching devices (timers, remote controls).
- Repairs should only be carried out by trained specialist staff.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service department, or a similarly qualified person to prevent risk.
- Never immerse the appliance or power cord in water or clean in the dishwasher.
- Do not use near water sources (bath, sink).
- Do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners.
- Do not use oven or grill sprays.
- Never reach into toast slots or insert objects (e.g., cutlery).
- Never operate a damaged appliance.
- Do not place on or near hot surfaces or flammable materials (e.g., curtains).
- Never cover toast slots or heat food directly over them.
- Operate only in an upright position with the crumb tray inserted.
- Ensure the lever for toast lift is properly used and not blocked.
- Never leave the toaster unattended while in use.
- Avoid foods that could drip, greasy/fatty foods, or foods with a lot of sugar (e.g., waffles with spread).
- Do not touch hot surfaces; only operate controls.
- Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning or transporting.
- Use only for its intended purpose.
- Keep packaging material and small parts away from children.
