- Enable Bluetooth on Device: On your smartphone, navigate to Settings, select Bluetooth, and turn the Bluetooth function ON.
- Enter Pairing Mode: Remove the earphones from the charging case. They will automatically power on and enter pairing mode, indicated by an audio prompt (e.g., "Power ON", "Pairing").
- Search for Devices: On your smartphone, search for nearby Bluetooth devices. (e.g., Menu > Settings > Bluetooth > Search/Refresh).
- Select Earphones: From the list of available devices, select "Monster Airmars XKT08".
- Connect: If prompted for a passkey, enter "0000". The earphones will announce "Connected" upon successful pairing. This pairing mode typically lasts for about 3 minutes.

Note on Other Devices: For non-smartphone devices, manual connection might be required after pairing. Connect using HFP (Hands-Free profile).
Handling Precautions
Please read and follow these precautions for safe and proper use. Failure to do so may result in accidents, malfunctions, or damage, for which the manufacturer assumes no responsibility.
[Warning] Important Safety Instructions
- Road Safety: Do not use while operating a bicycle, motorcycle, or automobile, as it may cause traffic accidents.
- Skin Irritation: Discontinue use immediately if you experience any abnormalities on your ears or skin that come into contact with the earphones. Continued use may cause inflammation or rashes.
- Abnormalities: If you notice any unusual smells, smoke, deformation, or battery leakage, stop use immediately.
- Fire Hazard: Do not throw the product into fire, use or charge near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in high-temperature locations. This can cause battery explosion or rupture, leading to serious accidents.
- Water Damage: Do not expose the product to water. The earphones are not fully waterproof, and the charging case is not waterproof. Exposure to moisture or internal water ingress can cause malfunctions, fire, overheating, electric shock, or injury. Ensure earphone charging terminals are dry before use.
- Tampering: Do not disassemble, modify, alter, or handle the product roughly. This can cause fire, electric shock, malfunction, or injury. Avoid tightly knotting or damaging the USB cable.
- Child Safety: Keep out of reach of small children (infants) and pets. Small parts can be a choking hazard.
- Restricted Areas: In locations where electronic devices or high-frequency radio equipment are required to be turned off (e.g., hospitals, transportation, construction sites), follow facility instructions and power off the device.
- Interference: Avoid using the product near other devices operating on the same 2.4GHz frequency band, such as microwaves, automatic doors, and industrial/scientific/medical equipment.
- USB Connection: Do not connect input and output in reverse using the host connector. Do not connect to the USB Type-C port via a host converter. This can cause overheating, fire, leakage, rupture, or injury.
- Physical Shock: Do not insert nails into the charging case, strike it with a hammer, or drop it, as this can cause rupture, fire, or overheating.
- Ventilation: Do not use or store in pockets, bags, or other enclosed, poorly ventilated environments (e.g., under blankets or pillows). This can cause fire or overheating.
- Magnetic Media: Keep away from magnetic storage media such as watches, magnetic cards, tickets, and memory notes, as it may cause malfunctions or data corruption.
[Caution] General Usage Guidelines
- Operating Environment: Use within 0-40°C (32-104°F) and store within 0-50°C (32-122°F). Avoid high humidity or dusty environments, which can lead to product failure or performance degradation.
- Cleaning: Do not use organic solvents or abrasive cleaners. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Plugs: When unplugging, pull slowly and horizontally by the plug itself to prevent damage.
- Volume: Avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods to protect your hearing.
- Battery Maintenance: Charge regularly. Even if not in use, charge at least once a month to prevent battery swelling or degradation.
- Charging Case Temperature: Avoid prolonged contact with the charging case while it is charging, as this may cause low-temperature burns.
- Post-Charging: Disconnect the charging cable from the case after charging is complete to prevent battery drain.
- Extreme Cold: Do not store or leave the product in extremely cold temperatures (below -20°C / -4°F), as this may cause product failure or performance degradation.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, please review the following common problems and solutions before contacting support. Refer to "Manual A" for additional operations.
Symptom | Possible Cause / Solution |
---|---|
Earphones not found during device search. | Ensure earphones are charged and properly seated in the case. Check charging contacts for dirt. Check if charging case battery is low. |
Earphones not charging. | Ensure earphones are properly seated in the case and charging contacts are clean. Check charging case battery level. |
Pairing mode not activated. | Ensure earphones are removed from the case. Check if already connected to another device (only one device connection supported at a time). Try pairing in a different location if radio interference is suspected. Check device compatibility and re-attempt pairing. |
Pairing fails. | The product's passkey is "0000". Some phones may require manual Bluetooth device setup or re-pairing. Consult your phone's manual. If unused for a long time, manually reconnect from the phone's Bluetooth list. |
Automatic reconnection fails after pairing/connection. | Ensure earphones are paired and connected correctly. If the device is out of range, return it within range for automatic reconnection. If it still fails, manually select "Monster Airmars XKT08" from the phone's Bluetooth list. |
No sound / One earbud not working. | Check if earphones are paired and connected correctly. For TV audio (one-seg/full-seg), ensure your phone supports SCMS-T. Check if connected via A2DP (Audio) profile, not just HFP (Hands-Free). Audio for apps like LINE or video sites depends on app/software; check for updates or compatibility issues. |
Noise or intermittent sound. | Interference from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi, microwaves, busy areas, train stations) can cause audio drops. Check your phone's signal strength. Avoid placing the phone in a back pocket or bag where it's blocked by your body. Ensure no strong radio-emitting equipment is nearby. |
Cannot make calls / dial from earphones. | Ensure phone's Bluetooth is ON. Check if connected via HFP profile. Some phones may require manual Bluetooth connection for calls; check phone settings. Short-press the touch sensor twice to answer calls; long-press rejects calls. Earphone controls do not support initiating calls; use phone or voice assistant. |
Device powers off during use. | Check earphone battery level (low battery is announced as "Battery Low"). A temporary error may have occurred; try placing earphones back in the case and reconnecting. |
Charging case not charging. | Ensure the USB plug is securely inserted. If the battery is fully discharged after long storage, it may not charge. Check your charger's specifications (output/voltage). |
