Congratulations on purchasing your new Sonik GIZMO2 bite alarm system. This manual provides essential information to ensure you get the best performance from your GIZMO2 bite alarm, receiver, and bivvy light.

GIZMO2 Bite Alarm

The GIZMO2 Bite Alarm is designed for reliable performance and user-friendly operation.

Getting Started:

Battery Fitting/Replacement

Slide the battery compartment cover down. Insert 3 x AAA 1.5V batteries, observing polarity. The alarm speaker will sound upon correct installation. Replace the cover securely.

Switching On/Off

The alarm turns on automatically when the cover is removed (silent start-up). To turn off, refit the cover; the alarm will emit a low tone and switch off.

GIZMO2 Receiver

The GIZMO2 Receiver is designed to provide clear indication and control for your bite alarm setup.

Push the on/off switch away from the antenna to turn on (LEDs illuminate red-green-blue). Push towards the antenna to turn off.

Alarms should be pre-registered. To add/change registrations:

  1. Switch on the GIZMO2 receiver.
  2. Hold S-button until the first LED flashes red.
  3. Turn on the alarm head to register.
  4. The next channel LED flashes red; register the next alarm by turning it on.
  5. Once all alarms are registered, press and hold S-button to exit.

Note: Restarting registration deletes previous pairings.

GIZMO2 Bivvy Light

The GIZMO2 Bivvy Light provides versatile illumination for your bivvy, syncing with your alarms.

Switching On/Off

Hold the on/off button for 3 seconds to turn on (LEDs flash red-green-blue, white LEDs flash 3 times). Hold for 3 seconds in standby to turn off (white LEDs flash once).

LED Illumination

In standby mode, press the LED on/off button to use as a standard light.

Bivvy light should be pre-registered. To add/disconnect alarms:

  1. Switch on the GIZMO2 Bivvy Light.
  2. Hold S-button until the centre LED flashes red.
  3. Turn on the alarm to register.
  4. Centre LED stays illuminated with alarm colour for 2 seconds, then flashes red.
  5. Turn on the next alarm to register. Repeat steps 5-7 until all alarms are registered.
  6. Hold S-button to exit registration mode.

Note: Restarting registration deletes previous pairings. Up to eight alarms can be registered.
