Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your device via Bluetooth:
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until the indicator light flashes blue.
- On your device, turn on Bluetooth and select "JBL Flip 5" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid blue.

Play
Once paired, you can play music wirelessly from your device. Adjust volume and control playback using your device.

PartyBoost
Connect multiple JBL PartyBoost-compatible speakers together for a louder, more immersive sound experience.
- Press the PartyBoost button on one speaker to initiate pairing.
- Press the PartyBoost button on another compatible speaker to connect them.
- The speakers will sync automatically.

App
Enhance your JBL Flip 5 experience with the JBL Connect app. Download it to configure speaker settings, update firmware, and access additional features.

Charging
Connect the included USB-C cable to the speaker and a power adapter to charge the battery.
The LED indicators show the battery level:
- 100% [Battery Full Indicator]
- 50% [Battery Half Indicator]
- 20% [Battery Low Indicator]
A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Waterproof IPX7
The JBL Flip 5 is waterproof with an IPX7 rating. This means it can be submerged in up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
