Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to connect your device via Bluetooth:
- Press the Bluetooth button on the JBL Flip 6 speaker. The speaker will enter pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth ON.
- Select "JBL Flip 6" from the list of available devices.
- The speaker will connect and indicate "Connected".

Play Music
Control your music playback directly from the speaker:
- Press the Play/Pause button (▶️) once to play or pause music.
- Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust the volume.
- Press the Play/Pause button (▶️) twice to skip to the next track.

PartyBoost
Connect multiple compatible JBL speakers for an amplified sound experience:
- Press the PartyBoost button (?) on the first JBL Flip 6 speaker.
- Press the PartyBoost button (?) on any other compatible JBL speakers you wish to connect.
- The speakers will link together, allowing synchronized playback.

JBL Portable App
Enhance your JBL Flip 6 experience by downloading the JBL Portable app.
Use the app for:
- Speaker configuration and customization.
- Software upgrades.

Charging
Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker and a power source.

Waterproof & Dustproof IP67
The JBL Flip 6 is rated IP67, meaning it is waterproof and dustproof.
It can be submerged in up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes.

Safety and Care Instructions
Battery Care: To protect battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
Liquid Exposure:
- Do not expose the JBL Flip 6 to liquids without removing the cable connection.
- Do not expose JBL Flip 6 to water while charging. It may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.
- Chemicals and salt in pools or the ocean can damage seals or the connector surface over time if not rinsed off after use.
- After a liquid spill or rinse, do not charge your speaker until it's completely dry and clean. Charging when wet might damage your speaker.
USB-C Charging Protection: A reminder sound will alert you to unplug if the connector detects water, salt, or other chemicals.
External Adapter Usage: When using an external adapter, the output voltage/current should not exceed 5V/3A.
