Bluetooth Pairing
To pair your JBL Flip 5 with a device:
- Turn on the speaker.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until the indicator light flashes blue.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings.
- Select "JBL Flip 5" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid blue.
Play
Stream your music wirelessly via Bluetooth.
PartyBoost
Connect multiple compatible JBL speakers together for a larger sound experience. Press the PartyBoost button on one speaker to link it with others.
JBL Connect App
Download the JBL Connect app to configure your speaker settings and perform software upgrades. Available on Google Play and the App Store.

Charging
Connect the USB-C cable to the speaker and a power source. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours (using a 5V/3A charger). The battery indicator lights show the charge level (20%, 50%, 100%).
Waterproof IPX7
The JBL Flip 5 is waterproof according to the IPX7 standard. This means it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes. Ensure the USB-C port cover is closed securely before exposure to water.

Important Information
To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
Do not expose the JBL Flip 5 to liquids without removing cable connection. DO NOT EXPOSE JBL Flip 5 TO WATER WHILE CHARGING. It may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.
When using an external adapter, the output voltage/current should not exceed 5V/3A.
