Note: Screw packages are designed for the largest variant, so some screws may be left over.

Recommended Tools:

• Open-end wrench: M6 (10 mm wrench size), M8 (13 mm wrench size), M10 (17 mm wrench size).
• A ratchet wrench set with appropriate sockets is ideal, especially in tight spaces.

Additionally helpful:

• Torque wrench
• Gloves

Installation - Soundproofing

Note: Soundproofing installation is only relevant if a BASIC or COMFORT soundproofing set was purchased as an accessory. If not, ignore this page.

For optimal adhesion of double-sided tape, proper surface preparation is crucial. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease. Contamination can significantly impair adhesion.

Temperature also plays an important role during application. Most adhesive tapes develop their full adhesive strength only at an application temperature of at least +10°C. At too low temperatures, the adhesive can harden and adhere poorly.

Tip: Press the soundproofing component firmly after application to maximize contact with the surface.

Soundproofing Set Comfort: Apply double to illustrations B & C.

Installation - Blocker

Important Note: The blocker prevents an air short-circuit within the housing. For better illustration, the blocker is shown in yellow; in the actual version, it is black, matching the rest of the soundproofing material.

Minimum Clearances:

• Height: Device + 80 mm clearance to the lid.
• Width: Device + 80 mm clearance to each side.
• Depth: Device + 80 mm clearance to the rear and 110 mm to the front.

Blocker Installation

Important Note: The number of blocker strips may vary depending on the manufacturer/device type/soundproofing set. The crucial factor is that the blocker fits snugly against the device, leaving no large gaps.

Installation - Compressor Housing

Installation of the compressor housing is only relevant if one was purchased. If not, ignore this page.

For optimal adhesion of double-sided tape on the back of the insulation nails, proper surface preparation is crucial. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or grease. Contamination can significantly impair adhesion. Temperature also plays an important role: most adhesive tapes develop their full adhesive strength at a minimum application temperature of +10°C. Step 5: U-Profil auf Dämpfungssockel (U-Profile on Damping Base)

Step 6: Fuß rechts / links auf Montageschiene stellen (Place Right/Left Feet on Mounting Rail)

Mounting Aid:

If necessary, mounting aids can be attached to create a support surface for the mounting rails. These are fastened using 4 x M8 screws.

Purpose: Adapter for wall console, extension of mounting rail, washer for grating.
