Logitech® Unifying Receiver
The Logitech Unifying receiver allows you to connect multiple compatible Logitech wireless devices to your computer using a single USB port.
Plug it. Forget it. Add to it.
Your Logitech K400 Plus comes with a Unifying receiver. Look for the orange Unifying logo on other Logitech wireless devices or their packaging to see if they are compatible. You can connect up to six Unifying-ready devices to one receiver, freeing up USB ports.
Getting Started with Unifying
To pair new wireless devices with your existing Unifying receiver:
- Ensure your Unifying receiver is securely plugged into a USB port on your computer.
- If you haven't already, download the Logitech Unifying software from www.logitech.com/unifying.
- Launch the Unifying software (typically found under Start > All Programs > Logitech > Unifying > Logitech Unifying Software) and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your new wireless device.
Help with Setup
If you encounter issues during setup or operation, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- Power: Ensure the keyboard is powered on. Try toggling the power switch off and then on again.
- Receiver Connection: Verify the Unifying receiver is securely plugged into a computer USB port. Try a different USB port or plug it directly into a computer USB port if currently connected via a USB hub.
- Batteries: Check if the battery tab has been removed. Confirm the correct orientation of the two AA alkaline batteries, or replace them if necessary.
- Interference: Remove any metallic objects positioned between the keyboard and the Unifying receiver.
- Proximity: Move the Unifying receiver to a USB port closer to the keyboard.
- Reconnection: Use the Logitech Unifying software to reconnect the keyboard and Unifying receiver.
