Quick Start Reference Guide
Parts & Assembly
The Power Pressure Cooker XL consists of the following main parts:
- Lid: The top cover of the cooker.
- Pressure Seal and Vent Valve: Located on the lid, used for pressure release.
- Rubber Gasket (under Lid): A seal that fits inside the lid for proper pressure containment.
- Inner Pot: The removable cooking pot where food is placed.
- AC Cord: Power supply cable.
- LED: Indicator light.
- Control Panel: Interface for selecting cooking modes and settings.
- Base: The main body of the cooker unit.

The cooker comes with several accessories:

Getting Started
Step 1: Initial Preparation
Before first use, wash the Inner Pot, Lid, and Rubber Gasket with warm, soapy water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
To ensure the Rubber Gasket fits correctly:
- Fill the Inner Pot with water to about 2/3 full.
- Place the Lid on the cooker. Ensure the Handle and Recessed Valve (refer to Fig. A) are positioned towards the "10:00 o'clock" position.
- Rotate the Lid counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
- Rotate the Pressure Valve to the Lock position.
- Run the cooker on CANNING mode for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Pressure Release and Cooling
After the cycle completes:
- Using tongs or another kitchen tool, carefully rotate the Pressure Valve to the Open position (refer to Fig. B) to release all pressure.
- Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature.
- Pour out the water.
- Rinse and towel dry the Inner Pot. The Power Pressure Cooker XL is now ready for use.
WARNING: Avoid serious injury. Never use your hand to set the Pressure Valve to the Open Position after any cooking process. Always use tongs or another kitchen tool.
Step 3: Cooking Preparation
- Place the Inner Pot into the unit and add your ingredients according to your recipe.
- Do not fill the Inner Pot above the MAX line.
- Rotate the Inner Pot to ensure it is seated properly.
- Place the Lid on the Cooker with the Handle and Recessed Valve (refer to Fig. A) positioned towards the "10:00 o'clock" position.
- Rotate the Lid counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
- Rotate the Pressure Valve to the Lock position.
- Follow your recipe for the specific cook time.
HOT LID WARNING: Use the black composite handle only when opening the lid. The stainless steel parts become very hot and could burn your hands.

Condensation Collector
The Condensation Collector is designed to catch any moisture that may drip from the cooker during operation.
To attach it, simply align and push the collector into the channels located on the back of the cooker. Empty and clean the collector after each use.
