Start-up
- Remove all packaging materials from the product.
- Inserting/replacing batteries:
- For HG11227A/HG11227B: Hold the lamp shade and open the end cap by rotating it anti-clockwise. Insert three AA batteries (LR6) into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity. Close the end cap by rotating it clockwise.
- For HG11227C/HG11227D: Hold the main body and remove it from the holder. Insert two AAA batteries (LR03) into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity. Reattach the main body to the holder.
- Ensure all seals/caps are properly installed for IPX4 protection.
- The product is now ready for use.
Operation
Switching the product on/off:
Press the lighting mode button 2 to cycle through the light modes:
- Press once: High light mode
- Press twice: Low light mode
- Press three times: Flashing mode
- Press four times: Light off
Safety Instructions
General Safety
- Read all instructions before use. Keep instructions for future reference.
- This product is intended for private indoor and outdoor use only.
- Do not use the product if any signs of damage are noticed.
- Do not look directly into the light or direct it into others' eyes, as it may impair eyesight.
- Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
- Protect the product from extreme heat and cold.
- Do not operate the product inside its packaging (risk of overheating).
- Keep children away from the product and packaging material (suffocation risk).
- Children aged 8 and above, or persons with reduced capabilities, may use the product under supervision and if they understand the risks. Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by unsupervised children.
Battery Safety
- DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention. Swallowing can lead to severe burns and death.
- Only use the specified battery types (AA for HG11227A/B, AAA for HG11227C/D).
- Ensure correct battery polarity when inserting.
- Clean battery contacts and compartment with a dry, lint-free cloth or cotton swab before inserting.
- Remove exhausted batteries immediately. Remove batteries if the product will not be used for a long period.
- Do not mix new and used batteries, or batteries of different types or brands.
- Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not short-circuit or open batteries. This can cause overheating, fire, or bursting.
- Never throw batteries into fire or water.
- Do not subject batteries to mechanical stress.
- Avoid extreme temperatures (e.g., near radiators or in direct sunlight).
- If batteries leak, avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Flush affected areas with water and seek medical attention. Wear protective gloves when handling leaked batteries.
- Dispose of used batteries at designated collection points, not in household waste, due to potential heavy metal content.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth.
Disposal
The packaging is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it at local recycling facilities.
Do not dispose of the product in household waste. Contact your local authority for information on proper disposal of the product at the end of its life.
Recycle used batteries/rechargeable batteries according to Directive 2006/66/EC. Return them to available collection points.
Warranty
The product has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering material and manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, consumables (like batteries), or damage from improper use or maintenance.
Keep your sales receipt as proof of purchase. Report any damage or defects immediately after unpacking.
