Intended Use
This hammock is suitable as a lying surface for adults and youngsters aged 12 years and up. It has a maximum weight capacity of 150 kg. This product is intended for personal use only, not for commercial use.

Assembly
Note: The hammock must only be assembled by adults.
- Only use suitable stands or suspension elements for the suspension of this product.
- Please make sure that the suspension attachment was installed correctly, it is checked for wear and tear regularly, and replaced if necessary.
- The attachment of this product can also be carried out using ropes on a tree or beams or using hooks on a wall.
- The suspension cords must run in a straight line and may not be twisted or knotted because this can lead to an overloading of the individual cords.
Note: The material stretches by 5-10% when in use; adjust the suspension accordingly.
- The suspension cords should be secured at a height of approx. 130 cm.
- The distance between both points of attachment should be approx. 310 cm.
- The hammock is suspended approx. 70 cm above the ground.
- If trees or walls are farther apart, the hammock can be extended using cords or chains. The suspension point must then be positioned higher accordingly.
Use
IMPORTANT! Get help from a second person when getting into and out of the hammock to minimize the risk of falling out. Always check that the hammock has been hung correctly before using it.
Getting in and out of the hammock without the aid of a second person:
- Stand close to the middle of the hammock (see fig. B).
- Balance the hammock with one hand (see fig. C).
- Sit on the hammock carefully first with one leg and balance the hammock with one hand (see fig. D).
- Slowly lie down fully in the hammock (see fig. E). It is most comfortable if you lie in the hammock diagonally. Lie down in the hammock in a relaxed state.

- Be sure to observe the maximum weight capacity for safe mounting.
- ⚠️ RISK OF INJURY! Do not place hard or pointed objects under the hammock.
- Prior to each use, check that the product is correctly mounted, inspect the hammock for wear and friction damage to the surface of the ropes and any connectors. Never use a damaged hammock.
- The hammock should not be used if the cover is torn.
- Have another person help you with getting on and off the hammock.
- Never use the hammock as a swing. Maximum oscillating range: 15°!
- ⚠️ RISK OF INJURY! Do not sit on or jump into the hammock with a jolt.
- No liability is assumed for accidents due to improper use and failure to observe these safety instructions.
- Assembly should always be carried out by adults.
- Please ensure that the article is not used as a swing, climbing frame, or gym apparatus.
- Do not stand in the hammock, do not climb in feet first, and do not put your head through the hanging ropes.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the hammock only with warm water.
- Protect the hammock from extreme weather.
- Protect the hammock from continued exposure to direct sunlight.
Storage
- Following use, the cleaned and dried hammock may be rolled up and stored in a storage bag or the original packaging.
- Be sure to let the hammock dry completely prior to storage.
- Keep the hammock in an airy, dry, and cool location.
- ❗ ATTENTION! Keep away from fire.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details on how to dispose of your worn-out product.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects, you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
This product has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location; this document is required as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, Rocktrail will repair or replace it – at their choice – free of charge. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. It does not cover product parts subject to normal wear (e.g., batteries) or damage to fragile parts (e.g., switches, rechargeable batteries, or glass parts).
Warranty Claim Procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
- Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 384287_2107) available as proof of purchase.
- The item number can be found on the rating plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
- If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed by telephone or e-mail.
- You can return a defective product free of charge to the service address provided, enclosing the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about the defect and when it occurred.
