- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. It is not fit for commercial use.
- Use the appliance only as described in the user manual. Any other use is not intended and can result in damages or personal injuries.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, and humidity.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision.
- When not in use, for cleaning, or during maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug (pull the plug itself, not the lead) or turn off the fuse.

Special Safety Information for this Unit
- The maximum number of place settings is 6.
- This unit is intended for household and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas, by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments, and in farm houses.
- The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using new hose sets; old hose sets should not be reused.
- The maximum permissible inlet water pressure is 1 MPa.
- The minimum permissible inlet water pressure is 0.04 MPa.
- Ventilation openings in the appliance bottom must not be clogged (e.g., by carpet).
- Open the door carefully during operation, as there is a risk of water squirting out.
- Ensure proper loading of the appliance according to the "Loading the Dishwasher Basket" chapter.
- Knives and utensils with sharp points must be loaded with their points down in the cutlery basket or placed horizontally.
- Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the opened door or dish rack. Do not place heavy objects on the door.
- The door should not be left open to reduce the risk of tripping.
- Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge may use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards involved.
- Children younger than 8 years must be kept away from the device.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material (foils, filler, cardboard).
- Check the appliance for any transport damage. Do not operate if damaged; contact your distributor.
NOTE: Production residue or dust may have collected on the appliance. Clean it according to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" chapter.
Overview of the Appliance
Appliance features
The appliance includes a spray arm, detergent dispenser, cutlery basket, filter system, rinse aid dispenser, dishwasher basket, and cub shelves. It also has connections for the inlet and drain hoses.
Delivery scope
Cutlery basket, cub shelves (2 pcs), funnel tube, inlet hose.
Installation
WARNING: Do not connect the unit to the mains during installation to avoid danger to life or electric shock hazard.
CAUTION: For correct operation, the appliance must be connected properly. Water supply, drain, and electrical connection specifications must meet the required criteria.
Installation location
- Locate the site near water inlet/outlet and a properly grounded power socket.
- Ensure a solid and horizontal position.
- Power cable and water hoses must not be kinked or squashed.
- Avoid installation:
- Near heaters, stoves, direct sunlight, or other heat sources.
- At locations with high humidity, as metal parts could corrode.
- In rooms where the temperature could drop below freezing. Do not expose the appliance to weather.
- Near volatile or flammable materials (e.g., gas, fuel, paint).
Water connection
CAUTION: Installation must conform to local laws and regulations. Use the new supplied hose set; do not reuse old ones. If the water pipe is new or long unused, ensure water is clear before connecting.
Notes on inlet hose safety system: This system has a double-walled inlet hose to cut off water supply in case of leakage. An inlet hose safety system can be ordered from your dealer or online shop (www.bomann-germany.de) using the reference number from "Technical Data".
Connect the water inlet hose (cold water connection) to a 3/4" cold water thread. Ensure a tight fit. Connect the other end to the appliance's inlet valve.
NOTE: Water pressure must be between 0.04 and 1 MPa. Use a pressure regulator if pressure is higher.
Hot water supply
The dishwasher can be supplied with water up to 60°C. Using hot water shortens rinse times but may slightly reduce cleaning effectiveness. Connect to the hot water valve similarly to the cold water connection.
Connect the water drain hose
NOTE: The drain hose is approx. 1.5 m long and can be extended to a maximum of 4 m with a suitable hose and connecting piece.
CAUTION: To prevent backflow of contaminated water, the free end of the hose must not come under the water level of the drain.
- Connect the drain hose to a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 40 mm, or fix it directly to the sink.
- Ensure the hose is not bent or squeezed.
- The hose can be installed at a maximum height of 750 mm from the appliance base.
- Secure the hose to prevent changes in position and water leakage.
Electrical connection
WARNING: Installation must conform to local standards and regulations. Improper connection may cause electric shock. Do not use multiple sockets or extension cords. Do not modify the plug. If the plug does not fit, have a proper outlet installed by a specialist. Ensure the power plug is accessible for emergency disconnection. Verify your mains power matches the appliance specifications.
- Connect the mains cable to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet.
- If the plug is not accessible after installation, an all-pole disconnect device with at least 3 mm contact separation must be available to meet safety regulations.
Prior Using for the first Time
Before using your dishwasher for the first time:
- Fill the rinse aid dispenser.
- Fill in detergent.
CAUTION: Use only rinse aid and detergent for dishwashers. Other products may damage the appliance. Follow dosage and storage recommendations.
WARNING: Keep rinse aid and detergent out of reach of children.
A. Fill the rinse aid dispenser
Function of rinse aid: Rinse aid is automatically added during the final rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing and spot/streak-free drying.
When to refill: The rinse aid warning lamp on the control panel lights up when the dispenser needs refilling. The optical level indicator "D" shows the remaining amount. When full, the indicator is dark. As rinse aid diminishes, the black dot changes size. Refill when the level drops below 1/4 to avoid spotting.
Fill in the rinse aid:
- Unscrew the lid counterclockwise to open and remove it.
- Add rinse aid, being careful not to overfill. The dispenser holds approx. 110 ml.
- Replace the lid and turn it clockwise to close.
NOTE: Remove spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to avoid excessive foaming. Replace the lid before closing the appliance door.
Adjusting the rinse aid dosage
If spots form or dishes dry poorly, increase the rinse aid dosage. Levels range from 1 (min.) to 6 (max.). The factory setting is "4".
NOTE: Increase dosage for water drops or lime spots. Reduce dosage for sticky whitish stains or a bluish film on glassware/knife blades.
B. Fill in detergent
NOTE: The appliance is suitable for multi-functional tablets with an additional water softener, as it lacks a built-in softener.
Function of detergent: Detergents remove dirt, break it down, and transport it out of the dishwasher.
Detergent tablets (tabs): Different brands dissolve at different rates. In short programs with low temperatures, they may not fully dissolve. For complete removal, choose longer programs with higher temperatures. Follow manufacturer instructions.
Detergent dispenser: Refill before each rinse cycle. Press the release button to open.
Notes for filling the detergent:
- Add the detergent tablet just before starting the cycle; otherwise, it might get damp and not dissolve properly.
- Place the tablet in dispenser A or directly into the rinse container.
- The dispenser should be empty at the end of the rinse cycle.
Loading the Dishwasher Basket
CAUTION: Only rinse dishes and cutlery marked as "dishwasher resistant".
NOTE: Remove gross food scraps and soak burnt leftovers. Pre-rinsing is not necessary. Do not overload for adequate cleaning and energy efficiency. Small items may fall out of the basket.
Items not suitable for dishwashers:
- Cutlery with wooden, porcelain, or mother-of-pearl handles.
- Plastic items not resistant to heat.
- Older cutlery with glued parts not temperature resistant.
- Bonded cutlery items or dishes.
- Pewter or copper items.
- Crystal glass.
- Steel items subject to rusting.
- Wooden platters.
- Items made from synthetic fibers.
Items that are limited suitable:
- Some types of glasses can become dull after many washes.
- Silver and aluminum parts tend to discolor during washing.
- Glazed patterns may fade with frequent machine washing.
Recommendations for loading:
- Place tableware securely so it cannot tip over.
- Arrange items so the spray arm can rotate freely.
- Place all items with openings facing down.
- Load curved items or those with recesses at an angle for water drainage.
- Ensure glasses do not touch each other.
- Do not place dishes and cutlery into or on top of each other.
- Arrange cutlery in the cutlery basket.
- Store long or sharp cutlery items horizontally in the dishwasher basket.
Method for loading standard dishes
The basket accommodates cups, bowls, glasses, saucers, dishes, oval platters, dinner plates, and soup plates. The cutlery basket is also included.
Cutlery basket
WARNING: Risk of injury! Cutlery must not protrude above the cutlery basket base. Knives and sharp utensils must be placed tip-down or horizontally.
NOTE: Remove the basket if necessary to create space for larger dishware. The basket has mesh inserts for uniform cutlery arrangement with handles at the bottom. Very long items should be placed in the dishwasher basket.

NOTE: Use multi-tabs with additional water softener. Using extra rinse aid can improve drying efficiency. *EN 50242 is the test program for combined energy and water consumption.

Control panel
The control panel features:
- Power button: Switches the appliance on/off.
- Program selection button: Selects one of six rinse programs.
- Program control lamp: Indicates the selected rinse program.
- Start delay button: Selects a start delay time of 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. Pressing it multiple times cycles through options (1x press = 2h, 2x press = 4h, etc.). 5x press deletes the delay.
- Start/pause button: Starts or pauses the selected program. Flashing lamp indicates operation; steady lamp indicates pause/standby.
- Rinse aid warning lamp: Lights up when rinse aid needs refilling.
- Water supply control lamp: Indicates activated water supply.
- Start delay control lamp: Indicates the selected start delay.
NOTE: When setting 6h, the 2h and 4h lamps light simultaneously.
Starting a rinse program
- Ensure the water supply is open to maximum pressure.
- Load the dishwasher.
- Fill in detergent.
- Close the appliance door and press the power button.
- Select the desired rinse cycle.
- Set any options if required.
- Press the start/pause button to begin.
Program change
CAUTION: A program change should only be done shortly after starting. Otherwise, detergent may have been released, and rinse water drained.
- Press the start/pause button.
- Press the program selection button for several seconds until the appliance is in standby mode.
- Select the desired program and press the start/pause button to start.
Forgot to add a dish?
WARNING: Open the door very carefully during operation due to the risk of water squirting out.
Dishware can be added any time before the detergent dispenser opens.
- Press the start/pause button.
- Open the door slightly.
- Once the spray arm stops, open the door completely.
- Add the forgotten dishware.
- Close the door.
- Press the start/pause button; the operation will continue after approximately 10 seconds.
At the end of program
CAUTION: Allow the appliance to cool down slightly after the program ends before opening it to avoid steam damage to furniture.
A series of signals will sound at the end of the rinse cycle, and the unit will enter standby mode. After about 30 minutes of inactivity, the appliance switches off automatically.
Switch off
- Switch off the appliance by pressing the power button.
- Close the water supply.
- Remove dishes after cooling.
- If the appliance is not in use for an extended period: Disconnect the mains plug or switch off the fuse, and leave the appliance door slightly open to prevent odors.
Unloading the dishwasher basket
CAUTION: Let the dishware cool down for about 15 minutes before unloading, as hot dishes are sensitive to knocks.
NOTE: There might still be water drops inside the appliance at the end of the program. Open the appliance door and pull out the basket for unloading.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING: Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug or fuse before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool down. Do not use steam cleaners; moisture can enter electrical components, risking electric shock. Hot steam can damage plastic parts. Ensure the appliance is dry before restarting.
CAUTION: Do not use wire brushes or sharp, abrasive items. Do not use acidic or abrasive detergents.
NOTE: Dirty filters and blocked spray arms degrade rinsing performance. Regularly check and clean them.
Filter system
The three-part filter system prevents larger food particles from entering the pump.
- A. Main filter: Traps food and soil particles, which are pulverized by a special jet on the spray arm and washed down.
- B. Micro filter: Filters dirt and food residues in the sump area, preventing redeposition on dishware.
- C. Coarse filter: Filters larger items like bone or glass shards that could block drainage.
Cleaning the filter system
CAUTION: Never use the dishwasher without the filter. Improper filter replacement reduces performance and can damage the appliance. Do not knock out the filter during cleaning to avoid deformation.
NOTE: Check the filter for residues after each rinse.
- Turn the filter unit (coarse/micro filter) counterclockwise and remove the entire filter system upwards.
- Separate the filter unit from the main filter. Loosen the coarse filter from the micro filter by pushing from below.
- Remove leftover food and clean filters under running water. Use a soft brush if necessary.
- Reassemble the filter system correctly in reverse order and reinstall it. Secure the system by tightening the filter unit clockwise.
Cleaning the spray arm
Lime and impurities can block spray arm nozzles and bearings. Regularly check the spray arm outlet nozzles for blockages.
- Pull off the spray arm upwards.
- Clean the spray arm under running water; use a soft brush for nozzles if needed.
- Reinsert the spray arm until it clicks into place.
Maintenance of the dishwasher
CAUTION: Never use spray cleaners to clean the door panel, as this may damage the door lock and electrical components.
- Clean outer surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaning agent.
- To remove interior stains, use a damp cloth with white vinegar or a special dishwasher detergent. If necessary, fill detergent and run a program with the highest rinse temperature without dishes.
- Dry outer surfaces thoroughly before reuse.
Antifreeze protection
If the device is out of operation and exposed to temperatures below zero:
- Disconnect the mains plug.
- Close the water supply and remove the inlet hose from the water valve.
- Drain water from the inlet hose and water valve.
- Reconnect the inlet hose to the water valve.
- Remove the filter system. Remove remaining water in the sump with a sponge.
Energy saving Tips
- Operate the dishwasher when fully loaded.
- Do not rinse dishes in advance under running water.
- Use the most appropriate rinse program for each load.
- Avoid pre-rinsing if not necessary.
- If available, connect the appliance to a hot water supply up to 60°C.
Troubleshooting

Error codes
Malfunctions may display error codes:
