Fuel Consumption

Fuel Consumption

The fuel consumption characteristics provided below are based on calculations using the standard test methodology (new EU test methodology according to Directive EC 99/100/EC), as well as in accordance with the 1996 Passenger Car Fuel Consumption Act (Amendment). Under normal operating conditions, actual fuel consumption characteristics may differ from the test results. Reasons for differences may include driving style, road and weather conditions, vehicle load, and vehicle condition.

Fuel Consumption Characteristics

Gasoline engine with turbocharger 22.8 12.4 11.9 23.8 15.9 17.8
Gasoline engine 21.1 13.4 11.4 24.8 14.9 18.9
Diesel engine 13.2 21.4 8.5 33.2 10.2 27.6

Urban Cycle

The urban cycle test begins with a cold engine start and consists of a series of accelerations, braking, periods of constant speed driving, and idling. The maximum speed reached during this test is 50 km/h, with an average speed of 19 km/h.

Extra-Urban Cycle

The extra-urban cycle test is conducted immediately after the urban cycle test. Approximately half of the test consists of constant speed driving, with the remaining part consisting of a series of accelerations, braking, and periods of idling. The maximum speed during this test is 120 km/h, with an average speed of 63 km/h. The test is conducted over a distance of 7 km.

Overall Fuel Consumption

Overall fuel consumption characteristics are the weighted average results of the urban and extra-urban cycles, taking into account the different distances covered in the two cycles.

Note: These characteristics should not be compared with results obtained using the ECE/EEC methodology, which was previously required by the provisions of the 1983 Passenger Car Fuel Consumption Act. Due to changes in the testing procedure, even for the same vehicle tested using both methods, the urban consumption values will differ.
