Axial Fan Introduction
XPOWER Axial Fans are designed for efficient air circulation and ventilation with high and long-distance focused airflow. They are ideal for janitorial/sanitation jobs, water damage restoration, and more.
Installation and Operation Guide
Installing the Rack*
Diagram shows rack attachment steps:
- Fit rubber washers onto bolts on both sides of the unit.
- Align the rack onto the axial fan.
- Fasten the connection with the rack handle.
* For model X-39AR and P-39AR only.
Switch Plate (Variable Speed Switch)
Diagram shows a speed control dial with OFF, LOW, and MAX settings.
Turn to “OFF” to power down. Turn clockwise to any position between “MAX” and “LOW” to power on. Speed is adjustable variably, with “MAX” being the highest and “LOW” the lowest.
Additional Electrical Receptacle (Daisy Chain)

Other appliances can be plugged into the additional receptacles. Total amperage must be lower than instructed. If the fan or plugged appliance stops working, press the RESET BUTTON.
Timer Switch*
Diagram shows a timer dial with settings from 0 to 180 minutes and an ON position.
Turn clockwise to set the timer for automatic shut-off. The timer can be set up to 180 minutes (3 hours). At “0”, the unit stops. At “ON”, it runs constantly.

Adjust Operation Position
Diagrams show the fan's 360° rotation and tilt adjustment, secured by rack handles. Additional diagrams illustrate airflow patterns: direct, dispersed, and return.
The Axial Fan features 360° Rotation. Tilt the Axial Fan to the desired angle and screw on rack handles to secure the fan's position.
Use without Rack*
Diagram shows the fan placed on a flat surface without the rack.
Uninstall the rack and place the Axial Fan on a level surface.
* For model X-47ATR only.
Transportation
Diagram shows lifting the fan by the handle on top.
Lift the Axial Fan with the handle on the top.
User Maintenance Instructions
Frequent maintenance is recommended. Failure to follow instructions may cause failure and void the warranty.
- When not in use, unplug and store in a dry, cool indoor place, out of reach of children.
- Always disconnect from power source before maintenance or cleaning.
- Wipe housing surface with a damp cloth. Do not clean with water directly.
- Check grille covers for cleanliness. Remove dirt or objects blocking air inlet/outlet.
- DO NOT stack more than four units.
Fasten the Rack Handles
Diagrams show rotating the fan upright and securing rack handles.
To prevent injury, position the Axial Fan UPRIGHT when finished. Fasten the rack handle to lock the fan's position.
Organize the Power Cord
Diagrams show wrapping the cord and securing it with a clip.
Wrap the power cord around the housing. Clip the cord to the cord clip on the plug.
Stack Multiple Units
Diagram shows stacking units and aligning air inlets. Includes a warning.
Stack Axial Fans on the sides, aligning air inlets. ⚠ WARNING: DO NOT stack more than four units. Stacking is not secure during transportation.
Troubleshooting Guide
