The RAXN-4000LCDGC is a versatile device that functions as both a main fire alarm panel color display and a remote network annunciator. It integrates seamlessly with Mircom's FleX-Net FX-4000N intelligent audio and fire alarm network system.
Key Functions
The RAXN-4000LCDGC can perform one of two primary functions:
- A) Main Fire Alarm Panel Display: Provides the primary interface for the fire alarm control panel.
- B) Remote Network Annunciator: Connects to any network node to display system-wide events or events from selected nodes.
In both modes, the unit offers three connectors that can be used as control modules for LED notification, graphic notification, programmable switches, and fan damper control.
Description
The RAXN-4000LCDGC features a color LCD graphic screen capable of displaying information in two distinct modes: an 80-character (4x20) mode and a 640-character (16x40) mode. This allows for clear presentation of emergency information, with each event displayed on two lines of 40 characters per line.
It is equipped with an easy-to-use menu system, featuring a directional keypad and switches for Enter, Menu, Cancel, and Info. The RAXN-4000LCDGC has four status queues with selectors and LEDs for Alarm, Supervision, Trouble, and Monitor to sort events. Common control functions are also available, including indicators and switches for Signal Silence, Fire Drill, System Reset, Lamp Test, General Alarm, and Acknowledge.
The RAXN-4000LCDGC also allows for disabling control switches for each function (via the laptop configurator) for areas that do not require certain common control functions to be located remotely from the fire alarm control panel. This unit can be mounted in a BB-1000 series enclosure.

- Does not occupy a node address.
- Easy-to-use menu system, featuring a directional keypad and switches.

- Displays eight events per page, with each event shown on 2 lines with 40 characters per line.
- Meets Canadian ULC requirements for sequential display.

The RAXN-4000LCDGC can drive IPS-2424DS, FDX-008, and RAX-1048DS modules with ribbon cable connections.
