SKY Devices Elite A6 User Manual
This document provides instructions and information for operating the SKY Devices Elite A6 smartphone.
1. Introduction
This manual aims to help users maintain their mobile phone in perfect condition. SKY DEVICES reserves the right to change the mobile phone without prior written notification and the final right to interpret the performance of the mobile phone. Screen displays may vary due to different software and network operators.

2. Safety and Warnings
2.1 Safety Warnings
- Driving Safety: Do not use the phone while driving. Use hands-free accessories when you cannot avoid answering a call. Making or receiving calls while driving may be illegal in some countries.
- In Airplanes: Wireless devices can cause interference on airplanes. Using mobile phones during flight is illegal and risky. Please ensure the phone is turned off during the flight.
- In Hazardous Areas: Observe relevant laws, codes, and regulations for mobile phone use in risk zones. Turn off the mobile phone before entering places susceptible to explosions, such as gas stations, oil tanks, chemical plants, or areas where blasting is taking place.
- Special Regulations: Follow special regulations in areas like hospitals and turn off the phone whenever its use is prohibited or may cause interference or danger. Use the phone appropriately near medical devices like pacemakers, hearing aids, or other electronic medical devices, as it may cause interference.
- Interference: Conversation quality can be affected by radio interference. The phone has an internal antenna located below the microphone. Do not touch the antenna area during a conversation to avoid degrading call quality.
2.2 Qualified Service
Only qualified personnel should install or repair the phone. Attempting to do so yourself may pose a risk and violate warranty terms.
2.3 Accessories and Batteries
Use only manufacturer-authorized accessories and batteries.
2.4 Sensible Use
Use your phone normally and correctly.
2.5 Emergency Calls
Ensure the phone is on and in service. Dial the emergency number (e.g., 112) and press the Dial key. State your location and briefly explain your situation. Do not cut the call until instructed to do so.
Note: Like any mobile phone, this device may not have all features described in this manual due to network or radio transmission problems. Some networks may not support emergency calls. Do not rely solely on this device for critical communications like first aid. Consult your local operator.
2.6 Precautions
- Keep the phone and its accessories out of reach of children.
- Keep the phone dry. Keep it away from rain, humidity, liquids, or other substances that could corrode electronic circuits.
- Do not use or store the phone in dusty places to avoid damaging active parts.
- Do not store the phone in places exposed to high temperatures. High temperatures can shorten the lifespan of electronic circuits, damage the battery, and plastic parts.
- Do not store the phone in cold places, as condensation may form inside, damaging electronic circuits when the phone is exposed to constant temperature changes.
- Do not throw, drop, or impact the phone, as internal circuits and precision components can be destroyed.
3. The Phone
3.1 Phone Description

3.2 Key Functions
- Power Button: Located on the right side of the phone. Press it to lock the screen. Press and hold to display the phone's options dialog, where you can select power off, restart, screenshot, and emergency call.
- Volume Button: Located on the right side of the phone. Press to adjust the volume.
- Google Assistant Button: Allows you to do more with Google Assistant, making it easier to manage tasks and to-do lists. Press and hold the Home button (on the bottom navigation bar) for a few seconds to activate Google Assistant.
3.3 Icon Functions
- Menu Icon: Tap this icon for access to selected functions.
- Home Icon: Tap this icon to open the Home screen. If viewing an expanded Home screen (left or right), tapping it will take you to the Home screen.
- Back Icon: Tap this icon to return to the previous screen.
4. Getting Started
4.1 Install SIM Card and Battery
The SIM card contains useful information such as your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal Identification Number), PIN2, PUK (PIN Unlock Key), PUK2 (PIN2 Unlock Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), network information, contact data, and SMS data.
Note: After turning off the mobile phone, wait a few seconds before removing or inserting a SIM card. Be careful when handling a SIM card, as friction or bending can damage it. Keep the mobile phone and its accessories, like SIM cards, out of reach of children.
Installation
- Press and hold the Power button for a moment and select "Power off" to turn off the mobile phone.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Install the SIM card according to the label.
Note: SD cards are small objects that children can easily swallow; keep them out of reach of children to prevent accidents.
4.2 Charge the Battery
The mobile phone can monitor and display battery status. The remaining battery charge is usually indicated by the battery level icon in the top right corner of the screen.
When the battery charge is insufficient, the phone will announce "low battery".
Using a Travel Adapter:
- Install the battery in the mobile phone before charging.
- Connect the travel charger adapter to the charging slot on the mobile phone. Ensure the adapter is fully inserted.
- Plug the travel charger into a suitable power outlet.
- During charging, the battery level bars in the battery icon will flash until the battery is fully charged.
- The battery icon stops flashing when the charging process is complete.
Note: Ensure the charger plug, headphones, and USB cable are connected in the correct direction. Incorrect insertion may cause charging failures or other problems.
Before plugging in the charger, check that the local mains voltage and frequency match the voltage and frequency of the travel charger.
4.3 Optimize Battery Life
Battery life between charges can be extended by disabling unnecessary functions. You can also monitor how applications and system resources consume battery power.
To ensure optimal battery performance, follow these rules:
- Turn off radios you are not using, such as Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, or GPRS. Use the Settings application to disable them.
- Reduce screen brightness and set a shorter screen timeout.
- Disable automatic synchronization for Gmail, calendar, contacts, and other applications if not needed.
Note: On the Home screen, tap the Menu icon and then tap Settings > Battery. The battery usage screen will show which applications have consumed the battery, from most to least usage. The top of the screen shows the time since the last charge or the current charging time, and how much battery power was used by each application or service. Tapping an application in the Battery Usage screen provides details on its power consumption.
5. Connecting Networks and Devices
5.1 Connect to Mobile Networks
When you insert a SIM card into your phone, it is configured to use the mobile networks provided by your carrier for voice calls and data transmission.
5.2 Connect to Wi-Fi® Networks
Wi-Fi® is a wireless networking technology that can facilitate Internet access up to 100 meters, depending on the Wi-Fi® signal router and surroundings.
Tap Settings > Networks > Wi-Fi®. Turn on Wi-Fi® to enable it. The phone searches for available Wi-Fi® networks and displays the names of those found. Secure networks are identified with a padlock icon ?.
Note: If the phone finds a network it has connected to previously, it will connect automatically.
Tap a network to connect. If the network is open, you can confirm connection. If the network is secure, enter the password or other credentials.
5.3 Connect Bluetooth® Devices
Bluetooth® is a short-range wireless communication technology that devices can use to exchange information within approximately 8 meters. Common Bluetooth® devices include headphones for calls or music, hands-free car kits, and other portable devices like laptops and mobile phones.
Tap Settings > Networks > Bluetooth®. Turn on Bluetooth® to activate it.
You must pair your phone with a device before connecting. Once paired, devices remain paired unless unpaired.
The phone searches for and displays the IDs of all available Bluetooth® wireless devices within range. If the device you wish to pair is not listed, make it discoverable.
5.4 Connect to a Computer via USB
You can connect the phone to a computer via a USB cable to transfer music, photos, and other files between the phone's SD card and the computer.
6. Using the Touchscreen
6.1 Touchscreen Recommendations
- Tap: To interact with items on the screen, such as applications and settings icons, or to type letters and symbols using the on-screen keyboard, simply tap with your finger.
- Touch and Hold: Touch and hold an item on the screen without lifting your finger until an action occurs. For example, to open a menu to customize the Home screen, tap an empty space on the Home screen until the menu appears.
- Drag: Touch and hold an item for a moment, then, without lifting your finger, move your finger across the screen to the desired location.
- Move or Swipe: To move or swipe, quickly move your finger across the screen surface, without stopping when you first touch it (so you don't drag another item). For example, swipe the screen up or down to scroll through a list.
6.2 Lock and Unlock the Screen
- Lock Screen: When screen lock is enabled in Security settings, press the Power button to lock the phone. This helps prevent accidental key presses and saves power. When sleep mode is activated in display settings, the screen will automatically lock after a preset period of inactivity to save power.
- Unlock Screen: Press the Power button to turn on the device. The lock screen appears. Tap and swipe right to unlock the screen.
6.3 Using the On-screen Keyboard
The on-screen keyboard allows you to enter text. Some applications open the keyboard automatically. In others, tap a text field where you want to enter text to open the keyboard. You can also enter text by voice instead of typing.
To Enter Text:
When you tap a text field, the on-screen keyboard opens. Some applications open the keyboard automatically. In others, tap a text field to open the keyboard. Tap the keys on the keyboard to type. The entered characters will appear in the text field with suggestions for the word being typed.
Use the Delete icon ⌦ to erase characters to the left of the cursor. After finishing typing, tap the Back icon ⌫ to close the keyboard.
7. Making Calls
7.1 Make a Call to a Contact
Tap the Phone icon or the Phone application icon on the Home screen, then select the Contacts tab. Scroll up/down to select the desired contact. Then you can tap the dial icon ? to make the call.
7.2 Make a Call from the Call Log
Tap the Phone icon or the Phone application icon on the Home screen, then select the Call Log tab. Swipe up/down to select and tap the desired contact. Then you can tap the dial icon ? to make the call.
7.3 Answer Incoming Calls
- Tap the Answer icon ▶️ to answer an incoming call.
- Tap the End icon ❌ to end the current conversation.
- To reject an incoming call, tap the Reject icon ?.
7.4 Manage Multiple Calls
If you accept a new call while already on a call, you can tap the Answer icon ▶️ to answer the current calls.
8. Using the Menus
8.1 Google Chrome
Fast, easy, and secure navigation with Google Chrome. When you open the Browser, the home page opens. The web address (URL) of the current page is displayed at the top of the window.
8.2 Camera
Tap the Camera icon on the main menu interface or the Home screen. The camera opens in landscape mode, ready to take a photo. In this mode, tap the camera icon ? to take the photo and swipe right to switch between photo and video modes.
8.3 Contacts
On the Contacts screen, tap the menu icon ☰ and perform the following operations:
- Show Contacts: Select contacts to display them in different groups.
- Import: Import contacts from the SIM card or memory, and share visible contacts.
- Blocked Numbers: Select this option to activate the call firewall.
- Accounts: Synchronize with your account.
- Settings: Configure screen options here.
- Send Contacts via Messaging: Select the function and then share contacts via messages.
- Delete Contacts: Select the function and then choose contacts. To delete all contacts, tap "Select All" at the top of the contacts screen. Then tap OK and confirm to delete the contacts.
- Advanced Options: View SIM card capacity and delete contacts.
8.4 Gmail
Google Mail: Secure, intelligent, and easy to use. Tap the Gmail email icon to access it. If the Gmail account has not been configured, you can set up a mail account in a few steps.
Configure Account
Enter the email address and password for the account.
Account Settings
- Configure inbox check frequency.
- Set Gmail to send emails from this account by default.
- Configure notifications for incoming emails.
- Configure synchronization of contacts, calendar, or mail from this account.
- Configure automatic download of attachments when connected to Wi-Fi®.
Compose and Send an Email
To compose and send an email:
- Tap the create icon ✉️ to compose an email.
- Enter the email address(es) for the recipient(s).
- Tap Menu > Attach file to attach a file.
- After completing the composition, tap the send icon ▶️ to send the Gmail email. Tap the folder icon to check the account status. Each email account has five default folders: Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent, and Trash. To view sent emails, open the Sent folder and tap the refresh icon ?.
8.5 Radio FM
Insert compatible headphones into the device and then turn on the radio. The headphone cable acts as an FM antenna. Please adjust the volume appropriately when listening to the radio; continuous use at high volume can be harmful to your ears.
9. Other Features
9.1 Gallery
Gallery Go is a light, fast, and offline gallery optimized for your phone. Your photos will look great with one-tap editing, and you can easily find photos with automatic organization.
9.2 Google Play
Google Play offers unlimited entertainment. It brings you all the entertainment you desire and helps you explore in new ways, anytime, anywhere.
10. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with the mobile phone's operation, reset factory settings and refer to the following table to resolve the problem. If the problem persists, contact your distributor or service provider.
