Instruction
1. Download the APP
To use the 2208A, download the JCWear App by scanning the QR code or searching for "JCWear" on Google Play or the iOS App Store. Ensure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled. Once the app is installed, select your 2208A smart bracelet from the identified devices to connect.
System Requirements: Android version 5.0 or later, iOS version 10.0 or later. The 2208A supports Bluetooth 5.1 connection.
2. Charge Before Use
Fully charge the device to activate it for the first use. If the device has been factory reset via the App, charge it to power on.
Place the device on the magnetic USB charger and plug it into a wall outlet or a USB 2.0+ port. The indicator light will flash red, blue, and green alternately during charging. A solid green light indicates the device is fully charged. After removing the device from the charger, the indicator light will briefly turn green for 2 seconds before turning off.
Power Indicator
Short press the home button to wake the device. The indicator light colors signify different power levels:
- Red light (1 second): 0%~24% power
- Blue light (1 second): 25%~49% power
- Green light (1 second): 50%~100% power
When the power drops below 5%, Bluetooth will disconnect. Charging typically takes about 1.5 hours for a full charge, providing approximately 7-10 days of normal use and up to 20 days on standby. Battery life may vary based on activated features and usage frequency.
Note: Prevent the USB charger port from contacting conductive materials like liquids, dust, metal powders, or pencil leads.
3. App & Function Operation
After activation, pair the device with the "JCWear" App for operation. A white light will illuminate for 2 seconds upon successful Bluetooth connection, followed by color indicators for power levels.
Home Screen Data
The App's home screen displays detailed health data reports, including steps, distance, calories, heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, HRV, stress, skin temperature, sleep patterns, women's health metrics, and exercise summaries.
Users can manage menstrual cycles through the App if needed. The App facilitates both manual and automatic health vital signs measurements.
Manual Health Vital Signs Measurement
SpO2 Measurement
There are two methods for manual SpO2 measurement:
- Initiate or stop measurement directly from the App.
- Short press the home button twice to start measurement.
During measurement, the blue light will flash. If your hand moves, the blue light will flash rapidly as a reminder to stay still. Upon completion, a green light will appear for 2 seconds if the result is normal, and a red light for 2 seconds if it is abnormal.
Note: A single press of the button during measurement will return the device to standby mode and end the measurement.
Blood Pressure / HRV / Stress Measurement
These measurements can only be initiated through the App. During measurement, the blue light will flash. Rapid blue flashing indicates hand movement, prompting you to stay still. The blue light will remain on for 2 seconds after the measurement is finished.
Skin Temperature Measurement
This measurement is also App-initiated only. After starting, the device will vibrate once. The blue light will flash until the device vibrates 3 times, then the blue light will stay on for 2 seconds to indicate the end of the measurement.
Device Settings & Features
Device Information
Access and view current device information, including battery level, MAC ID, firmware version, and Bluetooth RSSI. Make detailed settings adjustments here.
Set Auto Health Monitor Interval
Enable or disable automatic monitoring of heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, HRV, stress, and skin temperature via the App. Adjusting the interval affects battery consumption; shorter intervals drain the battery faster.
Blood Pressure Calibration: Calibrate blood pressure readings by entering your true value in the App to enhance accuracy.
Goal Setting
Personalize daily goals for steps, distance, calories, and sleep duration.
Alarm Clock
Set alarms using the App according to your preferences.
Device Settings
Configure settings such as Bluetooth disconnect reminders, smart notifications, sedentary alerts, firmware updates, and factory reset options.
Smart Notifications
Notifications are indicated by different lighting and vibrating patterns:
Frequency of Purple Light Flashing and Vibrating | Indication | Bluetooth Connection Required |
---|---|---|
Once per Second | Incoming Call | Yes |
Twice | SMS & 3rd Party App (e.g., WeChat, WhatsApp, Skype) | Yes |
Twice | Sedentary Reminder | No |
7 Times | Alarm Clock | No |
Note: Notifications can be stopped by pressing the home button once.
Firmware Update (OTA)
The device will notify you if a new firmware version is available. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade. No indicator light is shown during the update process; colors will appear upon completion to indicate power levels.
Factory Reset
Performing a factory reset will delete all device data. The device will need to be charged to reboot.
SOS Feature
To enable the SOS feature, first set up emergency contact information (name & phone number) in the App, with up to 3 contacts supported. The SOS feature is only effective when the device's Bluetooth is connected to the App. An SOS message, including your name and GPS location, will be sent to your emergency contacts.
In standby mode, long press the home button 3 times to trigger an SOS message alert. A rapid white light flash 3 times indicates successful sending; a rapid red light flash 3 times indicates Bluetooth is not connected, and you should connect Bluetooth first.
Exercise Mode
Exercise mode can be activated either on the device or through the App.
Turn on from the device:
First, preset an exercise mode in the App. Short press the home button 3 times to start the exercise; the green light will be on for 2 seconds, then flash. Press the home button to pause or resume the exercise. If paused, the light will flash blue. Short press the home button 3 times again to end the current exercise; the green light will be on for 2 seconds and then turn off.
During exercise, different light colors indicate heart rate zones: green light flashes for warm-up, fat burn, and aerobic exercise. Red light flashes, accompanied by 3 vibrations, indicates an alert for high heart rate during anaerobic and intense exercise.
Turn on from the App:
The App offers 54 exercise modes in total. You can select and display any 18 modes on the Exercise panel. Activate or deactivate exercise modes within the App as needed.
