Samsara Vehicle Gateway

Included Components

The following components are included in the package:

• 1x Samsara Vehicle Gateway device
• 1x Samsara cable
• 2x Zip ties

Installation Steps

Step 1: Locate Reefer Control Panel

Locate the reefer control panel, which is typically found on the vehicle's dashboard.

Step 2: Disconnect Reefer Cable

Disconnect the reefer cable from the control panel.

Step 3: Connect Samsara Cable

Connect the Samsara cable (labeled A) to the reefer cable, and connect the other end (labeled B) to the control panel.

Step 4: Connect USB to Gateway

Connect the USB end of the Samsara cable to the Samsara Vehicle Gateway device.

Step 5: Secure Gateway and Verify Status

Fasten the connected gateway securely in place using the provided zip ties. Verify that the gateway's indicator light turns green. This process may take 1-3 minutes.

Step 6: Reassemble Control Panel

Mount the control panel back onto the vehicle dashboard.
