- Extra Dry: Increases final rinse temperature and extends drying for better drying results, especially for plastic parts.
- Sanitize: Increases temperature and cycle length for sanitation, ideal for items like chopping boards and baby bottles.
Warning: Only sanitizing cycles are designed to meet sanitation efficacy requirements.

- Upper Rack: For cups, glasses, and small tableware. Height can be adjusted.

- Silverware Basket/Drawer: For silverware, ensuring sharp points are loaded downwards.

Before Using for the First Time
- Configure settings after initial use or factory reset.
- Connect to a mobile device via the Home Connect® app for convenient settings changes.
- Add rinse aid and detergent.
- Run a program with the highest temperature without dishware to remove residues.
Rinse Aid System
- Use rinse aid for optimal drying results.
- Adding Rinse Aid: Fill the dispenser when the indicator lights up.
- Setting the Amount of Rinse Aid: Adjust the amount based on whether streaks or water spots appear on dishware.
- Switching Off Rinse Aid Dispensing: Deactivates the rinse aid system and indicator.
Detergent
- Use only detergents designated for dishwashers.
- Correct Detergents: Tabs, powder, or liquid detergents are suitable. Follow manufacturer instructions.
- Incompatible Detergents: Avoid liquid hand soap and detergents containing chlorine.
- Information on Detergent: Follow usage instructions. Ecological detergents may have reduced effectiveness. Adjust rinse aid and water softening settings accordingly.
- Adding Detergent: Dispense the correct amount into the dry dispenser.
- Detergent Table: Provides guidelines for detergent amounts for different cycles.
Dishware
- Only wash dishwasher-safe items.
- Damage to Glass and Dishware: Avoid washing non-dishwasher-safe items like wooden utensils, certain plastics, copper, tin, or dishes soiled with wax or grease. Use gentle detergents and select lower temperatures for delicate glass.
- Loading Dishware: Arrange dishware to optimize results and prevent damage. Load heavily soiled items in the lower rack. Ensure spray arms are not blocked. Position containers with openings facing down.
Basic Operation
- Protection Against Unintentional Operation: A safety feature prevents accidental operation, especially by children.
- Switching On the Appliance: Touch ON/OFF. The last selected cycle and options are set by default.
- Setting a Cycle: Select a suitable program based on soiling level.
- Setting Options: Add options to complement the chosen program.
- Setting the Time Delay: Delay the start of the wash cycle via the Home Connect® app.
- Starting the Wash Cycle: Press Start. The cycle ends when no displays are lit.
- Activating the Button Lock: Press for approx. 3 seconds to prevent accidental operation.
- Deactivating the Button Lock: Press for approx. 3 seconds.
- Interrupting the Wash Cycle: Press ON/OFF to pause, then ON/OFF and Start to resume.
- Terminating the Wash Cycle: Open the door, press Reset for 4 seconds, close the door.
- Switching Off the Appliance: Press ON/OFF. Use caution when opening the door.
Basic Settings
Configure settings like Rinse aid dispensing, Intensive drying, Signal volume, and Wi-Fi connection.
- Rinse Aid Disp.: Set or switch off rinse aid dispensing.

- Error Indicators: Four vertical LEDs lighting up may indicate a kinked drain hose or a loose drain pump cover.
- Dishware Not Dry: Check rinse aid, cycle selection, and loading patterns.
- Silverware Not Dry: Ensure proper arrangement in the basket/drawer.
- Appliance Interior Still Wet: Condensation drying is normal.
- Food Remnants on Dishware: Check loading, spray arm rotation, filter cleanliness, and cycle selection.

- Water Spots on Plastic Parts: Select a more intensive program, adjust loading, or use rinse aid.

- WLAN Display Flashing/Home Connect Incorrect: Activate wireless connection, consult Home Connect® documentation.
- Refill Indicator for Rinse Aid: Lights up when rinse aid is needed or system is switched off.
- All LEDs Light Up or Flash: May indicate a software update or a technical error. Perform a reset or contact customer service.
- Water Left in Appliance: Clean filters and drain pump. Ensure program has ended.
- Appliance Cannot Be Switched On/Operated: Check power supply, software updates, or appliance functions.
- Appliance Does Not Start: Check breaker, power cord, and door closure.
- Wash Cycle Starts Automatically: Ensure cycle has ended or terminate with Reset.
- Appliance Stops During Cycle: Check door closure and power/water supply. Ensure upper rack is not obstructing the door.
- Appliance Door Cannot Be Closed: Close with force, check installation, or adjust door lock.
- Lid on Detergent Dispenser Cannot Be Closed: Remove residue, check for blockages.
- Filling Valves Making Knocking Noises: Caused by domestic installation, does not affect appliance function.
- Noise Level Varies: Ensure secure loading, check spray arm rotation, distribute dishware evenly.
Clean Drain Pump
Remove food remnants or foreign objects blocking the drain pump. Disconnect power, remove racks and filter system, scoop out water, and pry off the pump cover to clean.
Transportation, Storage and Disposal
- Removing the Appliance: Disconnect power and water, detach connections, loosen screws, remove base panel, and carefully pull out the appliance.
- Vacation and Storage: Turn off water supply. Winterize if unused in freezing temperatures.
- Transporting the Appliance: Empty the appliance. Transport upright to prevent residual water damage. Run a high-temperature cycle to drain, then disconnect water supply.
- Disposal of Old Appliance: Unplug, cut power cord, remove door. Recycle according to local regulations.
