Description
These handheld GIGALINK™ transmitters operate on 433MHz and can be programmed to the 433MHz GIGALINK receivers. The GLT433 series is available with 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 buttons, offering secure transmission with over 4 billion code combinations. Transmitters are also available without a case for easier integration into custom applications.
The system supports single and multi-channel code programming, providing flexibility to program each channel to different receivers. Each transmitter button can be assigned to a different single-channel receiver.
Multi-channel Code Programming
This method programs all channels from a multi-channel receiver to the multi-channel transmitter. Refer to receiver setup instructions for details.
Single Code Programming
This method programs one channel at a time to the transmitter. Refer to receiver setup instructions for details.
Operating Distance
An operating distance of up to 350 meters is possible with the GLT43300/1/2/3/4 models (in conjunction with GLR433.. series receivers), and up to 500 meters with the GLT43308 model. The actual operating distance depends on the receiver antenna and location.
An independent test revealed the following ranges:
Range (Metres) | Receiver Antenna | Receiver Type |
---|---|---|
200 | 690 mm Long Wire | GLR433.... |
350 | ANT433S | GLR433.... |
500 (GLT43308) | ANT433S | GLR433.... |
Range tests were conducted in an open area test site with line-of-sight operation, where the receiver antenna wire was fixed vertically, away from any metal objects.

Block Diagrams
GLT43301, GLT43302, GLT43303, GLT43304 Block Diagram
This diagram illustrates the internal components and signal flow. It shows a 9V battery connected to a 5V regulator, which supplies power to a voltage supervisor and a microcontroller. The microcontroller contains an A/D converter for voltage monitoring and an encoding algorithm. It interfaces with an EEPROM storing 36-bit codes for channels 1 through 4. A 6MHz RC oscillator provides the clock signal. The system uses ASK modulation, with a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), Phase-Locked Loop (PFD), amplifier, and filter to transmit the signal via an antenna. A red LED indicates normal transmission (flashing at 12.5Hz) and low battery status (flashing at 1Hz when voltage drops below 6.5V).
GLT43308(NC) Block Diagram
This diagram shows a similar architecture for the 8-channel, no-case model. It features a 9V battery, 5V regulator, low voltage detect circuit, and a microcontroller. Instead of an EEPROM, it uses a membrane with 8 switches for channel selection. The microcontroller manages encoding and ASK modulation, transmitting via a VCO, amplifier, filter, and antenna. A red LED provides status indication similar to the other models.
Connection Diagrams
GLT43300NC Connection Diagram
This diagram shows the connection points for the GLT43300NC model. It highlights the Elsema Controller unit, an LED indicator, a coding socket (located on the bottom side), and connection terminals labeled Ch1, Ch2, Ch3, Ch4, and Ground. The unit is marked with "Elsema PTY LTD" and a numerical code "6780".
GLT43308NC Connection Diagram
This diagram illustrates the connection for the GLT43308NC model. It shows the Elsema Controller, an LED, mounting holes, a 16-pin IC socket, and a coding socket with individual pin connections. The unit is marked with "Elsema PTY LTD" and a numerical code "6780".
Customised Labels
Transmitters are available without front labels, such as the GLT43300NL model. This allows customers to apply custom-made labels, enabling a single model to function as a 1, 2, 3, or 4-channel transmitter. Details of label dimensions are provided visually in the original document.
Customers interested in custom membranes with their own logos or specific text (e.g., "Up", "Down", "Start", "Stop") can contact Elsema at (+61) 2 9609 4668. The minimum quantity for custom membranes is 50 pieces per order.
