Location of Controls
The portable radio features several controls and indicators:

Battery Operation
To operate the radio using batteries:
- Insert 2 x "LR6" batteries into the compartment (9). Ensure correct polarity to prevent damage.
- Remove batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
- For optimal performance, "ALKALINE" batteries are recommended.
Radio Operation
To use the radio:
- Turn the VOLUME KNOB / ON - OFF SWITCH (3) clockwise to turn the unit ON.
- Select the desired radio band using the BAND SELECTOR (7) (FM, MW, SW).
- Turn the TUNING KNOB (6) to tune into your preferred radio station.
- Adjust the volume to your desired level using the VOLUME KNOB (3).
- For FM reception, extend the built-in telescopic antenna (8) fully. Adjust its position for the best reception.
- Turn the volume down completely using the VOLUME KNOB / ON-OFF SWITCH (3) to turn the unit OFF.
Headphones
The radio is equipped with a 3.5mm headphones socket (4) for private listening. When headphones are connected, the internal speaker is automatically deactivated.
