Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. Ensure the voltage on the rating plate matches your local power supply. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, if they are supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Children over 8 years old should not perform cleaning or maintenance unless supervised.
Do not use the appliance if the power supply cord, plug, or any part of the appliance is malfunctioning, has been dropped, or damaged. Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
To disconnect from the mains power supply, switch off and remove the plug by hand, do not pull the cord. Do not use the adaptor to recharge non-rechargeable batteries or other appliances. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Be cautious with accessories that have rotating parts to prevent entrapment. Always switch off and disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply, allowing it to cool before changing accessories, cleaning, or performing maintenance. The use of an extension cord is not recommended.
Battery Safety
Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. In case of battery leakage, avoid contact with skin or eyes. If contact occurs, wash the affected area with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Secondary cells and batteries must be charged before use. For optimal performance after extended storage, charge and discharge the battery pack several times. Do not leave the battery pack on prolonged charge when not in use. Use only the provided charger. Do not use any cell or battery not designed for this product. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Do not crush, puncture, or dismantle the battery pack. Do not store above 60°C or in direct sunlight. Do not expose the battery pack to heat or fire, as it may explode. Avoid mechanical shock. Dispose of exhausted battery packs at a local recycling station; contact local government offices for details. This appliance is fitted with a non-removable 11.1V 2200 mAh Li-ion battery pack.
Care and Maintenance
Always unplug the vacuum cleaner before cleaning or maintenance. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents or harsh cleaning agents. Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water or any other liquid. Keep the HEPA filter clean after removing the dust container.
Dos and Don'ts:
- Do: Ensure the HEPA filter is clear of obstructions. Clean the dust container and HEPA filter regularly to maintain suction and prolong the vacuum cleaner's life.
- Don't: Use the vacuum cleaner without the HEPA filter or dust container in place. Use it to pick up flammable liquids, matches, cigarette ends, hot ashes, or any hot, burning, or smoking objects. Do not use it to pick up water or other liquids, as this poses a risk of electric shock.
Note: The HEPA filter and filter cone should be cleaned at least once every three weeks. Do not use detergent or external heat sources to dry them. Always use the provided brush for cleaning and only when the dust container is empty.
Storage
Store the vacuum cleaner, when cool, clean, and dry, in a cool, dry place. Store the mains power adaptor separately, ensuring the wires are not bent at the connections.
