Physical and Electrical Specifications
The MODGAS-X Module is designed to modulate up to two gas valves to maintain a desired Discharge Air Temperature. The MODGAS-X also controls the speed of the induced draft fan to maintain proper combustion in the heat exchanger.
The MODGAS-X connects to an AAON unit controller or expansion module via an E-BUS cable. The module can be used in Stand-Alone Mode or Communications Mode.

Installation
Mounting
The MODGAS-X Controller is housed in a plastic enclosure. It is designed to be mounted using the three mounting holes in the enclosure base and the included mounting screws (#8 x 1" sheet metal screws).
The MODGAS-X needs to be installed in an environment which can maintain a temperature range of -30 to 150°F and not exceed 95% RH levels (Non-Condensing). It is important to mount the device in a location that is free from extreme high or low temperatures, moisture, dust, and dirt. Be careful not to damage the electronic components when mounting the module.
