Parts List
The following components are included in the Sprite Extruder Pro Kit:
- Sprite Extruder Pro (including adapter board)
- Mounting Backplate Kit
- M3x6 Hexagon Round Head Screw *5
- Copper Alloy Nozzle (0.4mm)
- Flat Cable (1.3m)
Installation Instructions
- Remove the original hotend kit and install the mounting backplate kit on the X-axis profile.
- Select an appropriate slot on the mounting backplane according to the timing belt length. Adjust the eccentric nut so that the mounting backplane kit slides freely on the X-axis profile without shaking.
- Fix Sprite Extruder Pro on the mounting backplane with 4pcs M3x6 hexagon round head screws.
- Connect terminals to the corresponding interfaces on the motherboard according to the cable labels. Terminals without labels are redundant and do not need to be connected to the motherboard. Please disconnect the printer power when wiring. Then connect the other end of the cable to the Sprite Extruder Pro.
Motherboard Wiring Diagram

Connections include:

Note: If the 3D printer restarts during hotend heating up, please reverse the heating tube connectors on the mainboard.
E-steps Adjustment
If the printer does not support adjusting the Esteps value to 424.9, follow these steps:
- Create a new text file (.txt) and type "M92 E424.9" in the text.
- Press Enter to continue typing "M500".
- Save the file in gcode format and copy it to the TF card.
- Insert the TF card into the printer and click to print this file. The printer's Esteps value will be adjusted to 424.9.
After installation, adjust the printer's Esteps value to 424.9 (this is a reference value and can be fine-tuned) and click "Store Settings".
Post-Installation Steps:
- Level the printing platform again.
- Adjust the side adjusting screw on the Sprite Extruder Pro to control the clamping degree between the extrusion gear and the filament. Clockwise tightens, anticlockwise loosens.
- The withdrawal distance must be less than 3mm.

Notes:
- Retraction speed: 35-45 mm/s
- Retraction distance (direct drive) for rigid materials (PLA): 0.8 mm
- Retraction distance (direct drive) for soft materials (TPU-95): 2 mm
- Caution: All wires must not be clamped during machine assembly.

- The specific values of printing parameters need to be adjusted according to filaments of different manufacturers.
Leveling Tip
This guide can be used for manual leveling or as a spare. The thickness of the paper is 0.1mm.
