Preparation
1. Carefully read these instructions to understand the product's performance and requirements.
- Tire Pressure Check: Ensure sufficient tire pressure. If pressure is insufficient, inflate the tire to normal. If the tire tread is excessively worn, or the tire surface is too damaged or cracked, immediately replace the worn tire with a new one to avoid the risk of skidding on wet or slippery roads.
- Electrical System Check: The battery should always be sufficiently charged to ensure the required range. Charge it first if the battery is insufficient. Check if the dashboard (non-standard configuration), digital tube, and battery indicator are functioning normally. If there is a malfunction, troubleshoot the issue for maintenance.
- Braking System Check: Verify that the braking function is normal. If the braking function is faulty, do not use it. Send it to an appropriate maintenance location for repair.
- Other Element Checks: Ensure that the entire vehicle (mainly the front and rear wheel bolts) is securely tightened, the handlebars are properly adjusted, the wheel lock is open, the pedals are in place, the quick-release folding mechanism functions correctly, and the safety buckle is in place.
Warnings
- When riding on uphill surfaces, against strong winds, or in adverse road conditions, human assistance should be used to aid the electric drive to reduce battery load.
- In case of abnormal conditions while riding, apply emergency brakes to both front and rear brakes, and immediately turn off the power switch. Continue riding only after ensuring the vehicle is in good condition.
- The Gyrocopters electric bike is water and snow resistant, but it should not be completely submerged in water. The wading depth should not exceed the lower edge of the motor hub, otherwise it may cause internal leakage of the motor hub.
- For your safety and the safety of others, please ride in the non-motorized lane and do not carry passengers while respecting traffic rules.
- Before riding your Gyrocopters electric bike as a beginner, make sure you fully understand the electric vehicle's performance.
- Do not ride with motor vehicles or get too close to automobiles. Avoid riding in the blind spots of motor vehicle drivers.
Note: Turn off the power when parked to save electricity.
Braking
- When you need to brake while riding, first stop pedaling, then apply the brakes.
- Brake the rear wheel first, then the front wheel.
- In case of emergency braking, both front and rear brakes should be used simultaneously, as braking effect will be reduced if used separately.
Note:
- When braking, accelerating, or cornering, be very careful. Try not to increase manual effort at this time.
- Ride at a slower speed and maintain sufficient distance from others.
- Be more attentive on slippery and smooth roads, and maintain a sufficient braking distance.
Parking
- When dismounting the Gyrocopters electric bike, you should turn off the power switch to ensure the lifespan of the batteries, motors, and electrical switches, as well as to prevent accidents.
- When opening the kickstand, it is recommended to park the vehicle in a spacious area. When making a temporary stop, please use the safety lock to secure the vehicle (the safety lock is not provided as an accessory).
- Do not park your electric bike in building lobbies, emergency stairwells, or emergency exits, and correctly follow the park's safety code.
Maintenance
About the Charger
- When charging, please use the designated special charger. Do not charge in residential buildings and keep it out of the reach of children.
- Pay attention to the charger plug during use to avoid damaging the plug and causing improper insertion or removal. Also, ensure it is waterproof.
- The charger should not be used in unstable environments with excessive oil vapor and dust, in humid conditions, in direct sunlight, or connected to electrical appliances. Ensure there is no lightning and maintain good ventilation conditions.
- During charger use and storage, avoid external objects entering and strictly prohibit liquids, metal, or other objects from entering the charger to prevent internal short circuits. Be cautious of impacts or violent shocks.
- There is high voltage inside the charger. Do not open it yourself. Do not modify the charger plug or cable.
- The charger should not be transported in a car if possible. If it needs to be carried, place it in a toolbox with good shock absorption, and do not disassemble or replace the charger's components yourself.
Charging Process
- During charging, first place the charger in a well-ventilated area, then plug the charger into the charging port, and then connect the charger to the electricity.
- When the indicator light turns from red to green, the battery is fully charged. It is recommended to charge for an additional 1 to 2 hours to ensure the battery is fully charged. The maximum charging time should not exceed 6 hours.
- After charging, first unplug the charger's input plug, then connect the output plug to the Gyrocopters electric bike. It is forbidden to leave the charger plugged into the electrical outlet without charging for a long period. If you smell an odor during the charging process or notice that the charger's temperature is too high, stop charging immediately and return it for maintenance.
About the Battery (Non-professionals should not disassemble it)
- Charge the battery between 0°C and 45°C, and discharge it between -20°C and 60°C. Keep the battery dry, away from acid, rain, fire, and heat sources. Do not reverse electrodes, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery. Use only the original charger, do not exceed 6 hours of charging or 2A. Store the battery in a cool, dry place, and recharge it for 5 hours per month. Follow the charging instructions, otherwise the user will be responsible.
- The newly purchased Gyrocopters electric bike may not be ready to ride, so please charge it first and then ride the electric bike.
- Users must charge according to the instructions during charging, otherwise the consequences will be severe. Pay attention to the battery type and applicable voltage charged by the charger, and strictly prohibit mixing. When charging, it must be placed in a ventilated environment. It is strictly forbidden to charge in residential buildings, confined spaces, or in hot weather.
- When the electric bike is folded, the two metal contacts at the end of the battery case must not touch at the same time, as this could cause an accident due to a battery short circuit.
- Users must follow the charging instructions to avoid serious consequences. Use the correct battery type and voltage, and do not mix chargers. Charge in a ventilated environment and strictly avoid residential buildings, confined spaces, or hot weather.
- It is strictly forbidden for the battery to be soaked in water.
About the Motor
Attention should be paid to protecting the motor output to prevent short circuits due to motor line wear and motor burnout. At the same time, prolonged immersion of the motor in water should be avoided.
About the Controller
The exposed wires of the vehicle should be protected to prevent controller burnout due to short circuits, and it is strictly forbidden to rinse the controller with water.
