Preparation and Pre-Ride Checks
Before riding, perform the following checks:
- Tire Pressure: Ensure tires are properly inflated. Check for wear or damage; replace worn tires to prevent skidding on wet or smooth roads.
- Circuit System: Verify sufficient battery power. Charge if necessary. Check that the dashboard and battery indicator lights are functioning correctly. Address any faults before riding.
- Brake System: Confirm the brake power function is normal. If the brake failure function is invalid, do not use the bike and seek maintenance.
- Other Items: Ensure all vehicle screws (front and back wheels) are tight, the handlebar is adjusted correctly, the wheel lock is open, the footrest is in place, and the quick-folding device and safety buckle are secure.
Warnings
- When riding uphill, in adverse wind, or on bad road conditions, use manpower to assist the electric power to reduce battery load.
- If any abnormal condition occurs during riding, use both front and rear brakes for emergency braking and turn off the power switch immediately. Continue riding only after the vehicle is in normal condition.
- The Gyrocopters e-bike is water-resistant but should not be submerged. Ensure the wading depth does not exceed the lower edge of the motor hub to prevent internal leakage.
- For safety, ride on non-motorized lanes and obey traffic rules. Do not carry passengers.
- New riders should thoroughly understand the e-bike's performance before riding.
- Avoid driving with or too close to motor vehicles. Be aware of drivers' blind spots.
Note: Turn off the power while parked to save electricity.
Braking Procedure
- When braking while riding, stop pedaling first, then apply the brakes.
- Brake the rear wheel first, then the front wheel.
Note:
- For emergency braking, use both front and rear brakes simultaneously. Using one brake may reduce effectiveness.
- Drive at a slower speed and maintain sufficient distance from others.
- Exercise caution on slippery or smooth roads and maintain adequate braking distance.
Folding and Parking
Folding Method
Folding Steps:
- Expand the diagram (refer to image).
- Adjust the handle: Loosen the handle of the folding riser and fold the lower riser.
- Adjust the seat tube height, open the frame folding handle, and fold the frame.
Installing Pedals
- Right Pedal: Rotate Clockwise
- Left Pedal: Rotate Anticlockwise
Parking
- When dismounting, turn off the power switch to ensure battery, motor, and electrical switch longevity and prevent accidents.
- When using the kickstand, park in a spacious area. Use a safety lock for temporary parking (safety lock not included).
- Do not park in building hallways, evacuation staircases, or safety exits. Always follow park safety codes.
Maintenance
About the Charger
- Use only the designated special charger. Do not charge in residential buildings and keep out of reach of children.
- Ensure the charger plug is undamaged and properly connected for optimal input/output. Protect from moisture and water.
- Do not use the charger in environments with unstable conditions, excessive oil fumes, dust, humidity, or direct sunlight. Ensure good ventilation, especially during lightning.
- Avoid external objects, liquids, or metal from entering the charger to prevent short circuits or damage. Handle with care and avoid impacts.
- The charger contains high voltage. Do not open without professional assistance. Do not modify the plug or wire.
- Avoid carrying the charger in a car if possible. If necessary, store it in a toolbox with shock absorption. Do not dismantle or replace charger components.
Charging Process
- Place the charger in a ventilated area. Plug the charger outlet into the charging hole, then plug the charger into the electrical outlet.
- The indicator light changes from red to green when the battery is fully charged. Recharge for 1-2 hours to ensure a full charge. The maximum charging time should not exceed 6 hours.
- After charging, unplug the charger input plug first, then disconnect the output plug from the e-bike. Do not leave the charger plugged into the outlet without charging. If you notice unusual odors or excessive heat from the charger, stop charging immediately and contact the maintenance department.
About the Battery
- Temperature Range: Charge between 0°C and 45°C. Discharge between -20°C and 60°C. Keep the battery dry, away from fire, heat sources, high temperatures, rain, and acidic/alkaline liquids.
- Prohibitions: Do not reverse polarity, destroy, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery. Use only the original special charger. Charging should not exceed 6 hours, and the current should not exceed 2A. Store in a cool, dry place and charge for five hours monthly. Handle the battery according to instructions; otherwise, the user assumes responsibility.
- New Bikes: Newly purchased Gyrocopters e-bikes may require charging before the first ride.
- Charging Requirements: Users must charge according to instructions. Pay attention to battery type and charger voltage. Do not mix incompatible chargers. Charge in a ventilated environment, avoiding residential buildings, confined spaces, or hot weather.
- Folding: When folded, ensure the two metal contacts on the battery box do not touch simultaneously to prevent short circuits.
- Storage: Do not store or use the battery under high temperatures (above 60°C). If storing for extended periods, charge the battery monthly to half capacity.
- Water Exposure: Strictly prohibit the battery from getting soaked in water.
About the Motor
Protect the motor outlet to prevent short circuits from wire wear. Avoid prolonged immersion of the motor in water.
About the Controller
Protect exposed wires to prevent short circuits and controller damage. Do not flush the controller with water.
Notice
- Always wear a helmet, gloves, kneecaps, and elbow protectors before riding.
- Ride at a medium speed. Avoid continuous pedaling when slowing down.
- Do not ride on motorways, pedestrian paths, or steep slopes (climbing gradient should be less than 20 degrees).
- Do not exceed the maximum weight limit (120kg).
- Avoid use in extreme hot or cold environments and on bumpy or wet roads.
- Strictly prohibit use by children under 16 years of age. Illegal use may lead to unexpected dangers. Gyrocopters is not liable for damages resulting from failure to follow this manual.

Weight and Speed Limitations
Adhere to the speed and weight limits specified in the manual for your safety. Exceeding these limits may increase the risk of injury or product damage.
WARNING: Overweight exertion on the device may increase the possibility of injury or product damage.
Operating Range
Several factors affect the operating range:
- Terrain: Riding distance is maximized on smooth, flat surfaces. Uphill or rough terrain significantly reduces distance.
- Weight: Lighter users generally have a longer range than heavier users.
- Ambient Temperature: Riding and storing the device within recommended temperatures enhances driving distance, battery life, and overall performance.
- Speed and Riding Style: Maintaining a moderate, consistent speed maximizes distance. High speeds, frequent starts/stops, idling, and rapid acceleration/deceleration reduce overall distance.
Note: Avoid sudden stops, as this can damage brake discs.
WARNING: Proper use of your brake is vital for safe stopping. To avoid misuse and potential injury, do not apply sudden or excessive force. Apply the brake gradually and allow ample room for a complete stop.
Please follow all local, state, and federal laws regarding the recycling, handling, and disposal of lead-acid batteries.
WARNING: SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IF YOU ARE EXPOSED TO ANY SUBSTANCE THAT IS EMITTED FROM THE BATTERY.
Safety Alerts
The device will prompt users with system errors or warnings during operation. Pay attention to these alerts and take appropriate action:
- Prohibited riding surfaces (uneven, too steep, unsafe, etc.).
- Battery voltage is too low.
- The device is still charging.
- Overheating or motor temperature is too high.
- Battery icon flashing indicates low power.
- If tires are blocked, the device will stop after 10 seconds.
- If the battery level depletes below protection mode, the motor will power off after 15 seconds.
Note: During high discharge (e.g., climbing a steep slope for a long period), the motor may power off after 15 seconds.
