Feature Explanations:

Charging

Before first use, charge for the full charge time for optimal battery performance.

  1. Plug the power adaptor into the shaver (See Diagram A).
  2. Plug the adaptor into a wall outlet (See Diagram B).
  3. Refer to the model chart for full charge times.
  4. Use the shaver until recharge is required.

For shavers with Quick Charge: A 5-minute quick charge provides 5 minutes of shaving.

Caution: Ensure the shaver and hands are dry when charging. Always charge in a cool, dry place.

Shaving

  1. Press the power button to turn on (See Diagram C).
  2. Shave face and neck using short, circular strokes (See Diagram D).
  3. Use light pressure against the skin.
  4. Pulling skin taut with the other hand helps low-lying hairs stand up for easier cutting.

Turbo Mode (PR1385C only): Press the power button a second time. Turbo mode is indicated by lights racing up the handle tracks.

Trimming

  1. Press the trimmer release button to engage the trimmer (See Diagram E).
  2. Trim long hairs and sideburns (See Diagram F).
  3. Close the trimmer by pressing it down (See Diagram G).

Stubble Look

The stubble attachment comb helps maintain a 3-day stubble look. It cannot shave a full beard down to stubble length.

  1. Clean shave face and let beard grow for 2-3 days.
  2. Attach the stubble attachment to the cutting head.
  3. Shave face with slow, rotating motions. The attachment trims hairs over 1.5 mm. Use light pressure for even results.
  4. Shave every two days to maintain length; do not let hairs grow too long.
  5. Detach the attachment for a clean-shaven look on areas without stubble.

Tips: Faster growing beard areas are trimmed first; slower areas fill in over days/weeks.

Shaving Tips With Gel or Foam (In Shower or Over Sink)

Note: Rinse shaver head thoroughly under water during and after shaving for optimal performance.

  1. Apply water to face and neck.
  2. Apply shave gel or foam.
  3. Rinse shaver head under water.
  4. Shave face and neck with short, circular strokes.
  5. Rinse shaver head regularly during shaving to prevent residue buildup.
  6. Rinse face when finished.
  7. Thoroughly rinse shaver head of all gel or foam.
  8. Follow cleaning and care instructions.

Cleaning and Care

Shaver can be cleaned under warm water.

Note: Ensure shaver is off and disconnected from the power cord before cleaning.

Caution: Use a damp cloth for external surfaces; do not use strong detergents or chemicals. Dry with a towel; do not use a hair dryer or heater.

Daily Cleaning:

  1. Remove and rinse stubble attachment/head guard if used.
  2. Press release button and open head assembly (See Diagram H).
  3. Tap out excess hair shavings (See Diagram I).
  4. Rinse shaver head under running water.
  5. Leave head open for drying.
  6. Close head assembly before next use (See Diagram J).
  7. Reattach stubble attachment/head guard to protect shaving head until next use.

Weekly Cleaning:

  1. Perform daily cleaning steps 1 and 2.
  2. Remove hair pocket assembly cover (See Diagram K). Keep shaver body dry.
  3. Slide blue inner cutter carrier down to release (See Diagram L).
  4. Remove inner cutter carrier from cutters.
  5. Remove cutters (See Diagram M).
  6. Rinse inner and outer cutters thoroughly (See Diagram N).
  7. Replace inner cutters, matching hub colors (See Diagram O).
  8. Position inner cutter carrier and lock into place (See Diagram P).
  9. Lubricate each cutter with household oil.
  10. Align spring hinge into hair pocket slot and snap head assembly closed (See Diagram J).

Trimmer: Lubricate teeth with oil every six months.

Product Disposal

When the shaver reaches end of life, batteries must be removed for recycling or proper disposal according to state and local requirements. If not legally required, you may dispose of the shaver with the batteries.

To Remove Rechargeable Battery:

  1. Unplug the shaver.
  2. Run shaver until motor stops.
  3. Remove head (Press release button, pull head away from shaver body).
  4. Use a small screwdriver to pry the front cover off the shaver body.
  5. Remove five screws located on the front of the shaver.
  6. Remove the rear cover from the inner housing to expose batteries.
  7. Pry batteries free from circuit board and cut wires.
  8. Dispose of batteries.

Caution: Rechargeable batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not incinerate or mutilate, as batteries may burst or release toxic materials. Do not short-circuit, as this may cause burns.
