To satisfy RF exposure requirements, maintain a separation distance of 20 cm or more between the device and persons during operation. Ensure compliance by not operating closer than this distance. The antenna must not be co-located with any other antenna or transmitter.

2. Preparation

2.1 Assemble and Charge

  1. Remove the protective film from the robot and docking station.
  2. Install the side brushes.
  3. Place the charging base in an open area, connect the power supply, and tidy the power cord. Ensure at least 0.5m clearance on sides and 1.5m clearance in front.
  4. Turn on the robot: "I" means ON, "O" means OFF. The robot cannot charge when turned off.
  5. Charging: Place the robot on the docking station, aligning the charging electrodes. A twinkling light indicates charging; a solid light means fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

3.2 App Download and Configuration

Downloading and installation of the “Lefant" app:

Method I: Scan the QR code provided and follow the prompts to download and install the app.

Method II: Search for "Lefant" in your app store, download, and install the app.

Note: The robot works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only.

3.3 Maintenance

When cleaning and maintaining the robot and its accessories, please unplug the charging stand.

Warning: The HEPA Filter should not touch water.

  1. Open the faceplate and take out the dust bin.
  2. Open the dust bin latch and dump the garbage.
  3. Remove the filter assembly.
  4. Clean the Pre-filter.
  5. Clean the HEPA-filter.
  6. Clean the anti-drop sensors to ensure sensitivity.
  7. Clean the universal wheel to prevent hair tangling.
  8. Clean the charging electrode to ensure successful charging.
  9. Clean the suction mouth to avoid dust clogging.
  10. Clean the driving wheel to ensure smooth operation.
  11. Clean the Anti-collision sensors for obstacle avoidance.
  12. Clean the side brush to prevent hair tangling.
  13. Clean the charging electrode of the docking station for successful charging.

4. Abnormal Symptoms

4.1 Symptoms Prompts

When the robot encounters issues, its red indicator light will activate with specific beep patterns. The following table summarizes common faults and solutions:

2 Abnormal side brush 2 beeps for three times Check for tangled side brush and clean it.
3 Abnormal fan 3 beeps for three times Check the dust bin and air duct for waste.
4 Undetected dust bin 5 beeps for three times Install the dust bin in the robot.
Red light flashes
1 Ground-detection alarm 2 beeps for three times The robot is hanging in the air. Move it to the ground.
2 Dilemma elimination alarm 3 beeps for three times Move the robot to an open place.
3 Low Battery 4 beeps for three times Move the robot to the docking station for charging.
4 Abnormal adapter 5 beeps for three times Clean the electrode and ensure the original adapter is used.
5 Abnormal charging 6 beeps for three times Check if the robot is turned on.

* If the problem persists, turn the robot off and on using the power switch under the faceplate.

4.2 Troubleshooting

1 Abnormal cleaning Cleaning components blockage Replace consumables like HEPA filters, pre-filters, and side brushes regularly.
Dust on sensors and other components Refer to the [Maintenance] chapter to clean the robot.
2 Unable to connect to App Not entered Wi-Fi pairing mode Press and hold the Start/pause button for 3 seconds to enter Wi-Fi pairing mode.
2.4GHz network isn't used. Refer to the [App download and configuration] chapter.
3 Difficult to return and charge Incorrect placement of charging base Place the charging stand in an open and flat area.
The charging stand is powered off or moved manually Check if the charging base is connected to power. Do not move the charging base while the robot is working.
The home is too large, and the environment is complex Refer to the [Using environment preparation] chapter. Consider using multiple charging stands for complex environments.
The robot didn't clean from the docking station Let the robot clean from the docking station.
4 Unable to charge The power supply is not connected, or the plug is loose Check both ends of the power adapter and ensure they are connected and powered on.
Poor contact between the robot and the charging electrode of the docking station Ensure the charging electrodes are fully connected and clean them regularly.
Battery deterioration caused by non-long-term use Use the product frequently. If the battery cannot be charged due to long-term disuse, contact customer service.
