LIAN LI LANCOOL II MESH RGB PERFORMANCE

1. Case Components Overview

This section provides an overview of the LIAN LI LANCOOL II MESH RGB PERFORMANCE PC case components.

• A: IO Ports (RGB Version): 1x AUDIO/Microphone Combo Jack, 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 3.1 Type C (Optional), Power Button, Reset Button, C button for color control, M button for lighting mode control.
• A: IO Ports (Performance Version): 1x AUDIO/Microphone Combo Jack, 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 3.1 Type C (Optional), Power Button, Reset Button, 1x Fan speed control button.
• B: Top Fan/Radiator Mount: 1x 120mm fan pre-installed. Supports 2x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans, or 1x 120mm or 1x 240mm radiator. Features a removable dust filter.
• C: Rear Fan Mount: 1x 120mm fan pre-installed (Performance version). No fan pre-installed (RGB version).
• D: Side Mounts: Supports 2x 120mm fans or 2x 2.5" SSDs.
• E: Removable HDD Tray: Supports 3x 3.5" HDDs or 3x 2.5" SSDs.
• F: Removable Fan Tray (Front): Supports 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans, or 1x 360mm or 1x 280mm radiator.
• G: Front Fans: 3x 120mm fans pre-installed (RGB version) with a removable dust filter. 2x 140mm fans pre-installed (Performance version) with a removable dust filter.
• H: Removable HDD Tray: Supports 2x 2.5" SSDs.
• I: PSU Tray: Supports 1x ATX PSU with a removable dust filter at the bottom.
• J: Removable HDD Tray: Supports 2x 2.5" SSDs.

2. Hardware List

The following hardware components are included with the case. Exceeded quantities are spare parts.

⚠ The fan is installed in the middle of the top cover.

3. Front Panel Removal

To remove the front panel, grasp the handle and pull to release it from the chassis.

4. Side Panel Removal

First, remove the front panel. Then, open the side panels. To fully release a side panel, move it upwards. Ensure to peel off any protective film from the panel.

⚠Warning: Do not attempt to remove the side panel without first removing the front panel.

5. Motherboard Installation

Install the motherboard into the chassis. For E-ATX motherboards, the mounting tray can be turned 180 degrees to accommodate the larger size. Use the provided stand-off bolt tool for installation.

PSU Installation

Slide the ATX power supply unit (PSU) into its designated tray at the bottom of the case and secure it.

6. 2.5" SSD / 3.5" HDD Installation

Removable HDD Tray Installation

To install 2.5" SSDs or 3.5" HDDs into the removable tray:

1. Press the release mechanism on the tray.
2. Open the tray.
3. Place the drive into the tray.
4. Close the tray, ensuring it clicks into place.

⚠Warning: The HDD tray needs to be pushed in completely before closing the handle.

⚠Note: The HDD rack position can be adjusted.

2.5" SSD Installation (Alternative Mounts)

2.5" SSDs can also be installed on various mounting points within the case using the provided screws and anti-vibration rings. Secure the SSD to the mounting bracket, then attach the bracket to the chassis.

7. 120 mm Fan / 2.5" SSD Installation (Side Mount)

To install 120mm fans or 2.5" SSDs on the side mounts, remove the bracket, install the components, and then reattach the bracket to the chassis.

Cable Management

Utilize the provided cable ties and Velcro straps to route and secure cables neatly behind the motherboard tray for improved airflow and aesthetics.

8. I/O Ports Function and Connections

RGB Version I/O Port Function

The RGB version features a C button for color control and an M button for lighting mode control.

8 Lighting Effects:

1. 1st-7th: MCU Built-in Lighting Mode.
2. 8th: Sync Up the ARGB Lighting With The Motherboard.

To sync with the motherboard, connect the header to the motherboard. To turn off the lighting, press the M button for 3 seconds. To turn it on, press again for 3 seconds.

Press the C button to control the 7 built-in static colors.

Connections:

• P1 (USB 3.0): Connects to motherboard.
• P2 (USB 3.1 Type C - Optional): Connects to motherboard.
• P4 (I/O Headers): Connects to motherboard for Reset SW, Power SW, Power LED+, Power LED-. Pinout: Blue (10), Green (9), Black (8), Key (7), Yellow (6), Orange (5), Gray (4), N.C. (3), Red (2), GND+H.S. (1).
• P10/P11 (Fan Headers): Connects to motherboard fan headers.
• P20 (Audio): 1x AUDIO / Microphone Combo Jack.
• ARGB Header: Connects to Lan2-2X or an add-on ARGB Strip with a 3 PIN Header (+5V, D, GND).
• SATA 15P: Connects to PSU for power.

PERFORMANCE Version I/O Port Function

The Performance version features a fan speed control button.

Fan Speed Control:

Connections:

• P1 (USB 3.0): Connects to motherboard.
• P2 (USB 3.1 Type C - Optional): Connects to motherboard.
• P4 (I/O Headers): Connects to motherboard for Reset SW, Power SW, Power LED+, Power LED-. Pinout: Blue (10), Green (9), Black (8), Key (7), Yellow (6), Orange (5), Gray (4), N.C. (3), Red (2), GND+H.S. (1).
• P10/P11 (Fan Headers): Connects to motherboard fan headers.
• P20 (Audio): 1x AUDIO / Microphone Combo Jack.
• SATA 15P: Connects to PSU for power.
• Fan Expansion Board: Connects to MB PWM fan socket (PWM, RPM, Fan Power, Ground). Supports FAN-1, FAN-2, FAN-3, FAN-4, FAN-5, FAN-6.

9. Fan Tray Removal

To remove the fan tray, loosen the screws on both sides and pull to release the fan tray. The fan tray can be reversed and has four styles for flexible mounting options.

10. Radiator & Cooling Support

The case supports various radiator and fan configurations:

• Top Mount: Supports 120x120mm, 120x240mm, 120x360mm radiators.
• Front Mount: Supports 120x120mm, 140x140mm, 120x240mm, 140x280mm, 120x360mm radiators.

⚠Attention: 140x140mm / 140x280mm radiators do not apply to the top-front position (where the cover needs to be removed for 360mm radiator).

To install a 360mm radiator in the front, remove the cover by sliding it out.

11. Magnetic Dust Filters & Cover Removal

The case features magnetic dust filters on the top and bottom for easy removal and cleaning. To remove the top cover, unscrew the two retaining screws, then slide the cover back and lift it off. This provides access to the RGB Controller or fan hub.

12. Hardware Clearance

The LANCOOL II MESH offers generous clearance for components:

• CPU Air Cooler: Up to 176 mm height.
• GPU (Graphics Processing Unit): Up to 384 mm length.
• PSU (Power Supply Unit): Up to 210 mm length.
• Radiator Clearance (Front): Up to 65 mm thickness.
• Radiator Clearance (Top): Up to 55 mm thickness.
